I love my Keyport!

When I took it to the dealership to have the chip programmed, they were also concerned that it would be too heavy for the ignition. Once they finally got to hold it, they were amazed as to how light it is. Definitely lighter than regular keys.

I get iffy about spacers idk why lol...maybe some hub/lug centric ones would be the best. Next purchase would most likely be the bumper quick relases. Im tired of popping back the tabs in everytime I get out of the car lol

what tabs? I wouldn't know because my bumper is only held on by 5 or 6 tabs anyway.

[quote=Slow Scoobie;39735286]Aftermarket Springs on stock struts is a no-no. (You can do it if you want but it will shorten the life of the struts drastically) Coilovers its all about how much your willing to spend and what you want them to do. Theirs a crap load of coilovers you can get. Bc's, ISC's, Racelands, Fortune Auto, TEIN the list goes on. Cheapest would probably be racelands at around $500 for a set.[/QUOTE
Really I'm just looking for a better than stock ride while lowering the vehicle. I was thinking racelands but everyone was hating on those

You won't be happy unless you drop money on really good coils or get strut inserts and lowering springs.

I guess when it comes to suspension I prefer something great. And for $400 more then Racelands that can be achieved. May seem like a lot to some but skimping on suspension seems like a bad idea.

Im not saying I would buy them. Its just there are plenty of people who have them and are happy with them.

Why you gotta take em out? To allow the bumper to flex? Im just curious whats your fender to ground measurement with your new setup?

Yea ive never had that happen lol. Probably because I have only 1 tab holding the liner to the bumper on the driver side.

Yeah whoever was the previous owner of my car probably took it off roading. I don't have a skid plate and all the the parts that snap together are broken off. I can probably take my bumper off in less than a minute if I wanted to lol.

You should check out the password jdm quick bumper releases.... it allows the bumper to flex when going over bumps if you scrub all over the place especially for me cuz I scrape every f****n where. The only push in tabs that would be holding it is the ones under the hood.

The drivers side scrubs the most though, I think its because of the harness housing that sits right above the tire. The passenger side not as much... I want to tub it out, but its too much work lol

I feel like the driver side rubs more because we sit on that side so it might compress the suspension a bit

I almost always got a passenger with me and we weigh the same (I checked lol) and the drivers side still scrubs more. My dampening is set one click from full stiff. I haven't pulled the wheels off yet to check but I am almost certain that its the plastic housing that rubs on the tire. The passenger side doesnt have one.

Really lol. My driver side liners are all modified and cut and rubs. While the passenger side is untouched and doesn't rub at all. I pulled my driver side fender a bit more and has reduced rubbing substantially but now it doesn't look as flush. Oh well.

I wonder how much you are pushing them by being so low? Probably wear them out much faster then if they had a little bit more travel.

Pretty low. What I mean though is I wonder if they can handle being that low consistently. I bet the wear is accelerated.
