Question How to Clean Engine Bay and Underbody?

I just went through a rally w/o skid plates and my underbody and engine bay is covered with mud... what is the best possible way to clean it up?...

i've tried using the full car pressure wash stations at the gas stations and the car is still muddy (well dirty on the underbody) and there are still tons of mud in the engine bay. esp places where i can't reach by hand to clean up.

any suggestions? thanks!

I've got about 5 years of experience of washing 2 1/2 and 5-ton trucks and HMMWV (hummers) that's been through hell and back.
It's a pain in the arse getting all of the dirt and mud off. The trucks couldn't have any on them before they loaded onto the planes. The best thing I could say is having more that one person do it. You wash it and then let some one else give it a go. You'll be surprise how much stuff they will find that you missed. The other thing you can try is jacking up one side at a time. It's a lot easier than you crouching way down and doing it. You'll have a sore back. If you have a lift that will make life a lot easier.

mike...

Or instead of doing all that crap you can do it the easy way.
Spray the bottom with Simple Green and find a puddle that isn't muddy and enjoy! Remember Wash, Rinse, and Repeat if necessary!
