Question Whose the fastest Subie in the Tacoma/Seattle area?

Just curious to see some of the top tuned scoobies around my way! (timeslips would be one of the best judges for me)

Why??? I probably don't have the fastest, but it is what I want, who cares if it isn't the fastest. I heard that there is a 1000hp Subaru out there somewhere, (not locally), maybe that one might be the fastest. It only takes money, and I can think of a lot better things to do with my money then to prove that I am the fastest.

The fastest ones I have seen in the northwest come out of PDX Tuning. I think its Jeff Sponagle(sp) has an STI that is making HP somewhere in the 500 range. They have quite a few subies they have made pretty powerful.

Yeah Ive heard they have been putting together some crazy power numbers, know if they have had any chances to run at the track? if so what were their times and breakdoiwn of their slips?

Thanks Man

Yo Danny... you can't get a break man! I would have to say the PDX tuning guys have that spot now. Why don't you throw some of that re-up bonus down and make a monster yourself? Rangers lead the way!

You want fastest 1/4? If you want fastest in the NW it would definalty go to Spounagle. In the Seattle/Tacoma area I'd say probably Ron, but he's moved to SanDiego. I'd guess that Joe (Bonecake) is probably one of the faster ones in this area too.

There aren't many REALLY high hp subies in this area. Most of are just your garden variety IHI stg4's. DjDerazio was running a 20G for a bit but I don't know what happend to him.

Umm I have some video's when i was at PIR last running my subie... the PDX Tuning car ran 12.1 at best that day while I was watching, I don't know if that was on stock turbo or what... i just have a couple videos of them doing 12.3's and i think i could be wrong but I swear I remember them running a 12.1.

Pretty cool, but I except in the next few years people will be getting wrx's lower and lower with more tuning advantages and fix's and more parts readily available]

anyone know who has the fastest wrx/STi to date... 8's? 9's? 10's? 11's?

My STi runs in the 11's.

I'm running a GReddy TD06 25G with all the mods to support it.

16TLC Air Shift kit, keeps the RPM's and Boost up.

Wow Dave, thats a big jump from 13,s in your stage 4 eh? nice! What kind of 60's are you pulling? Whats yout trap speed?

Marcel thanks for the info--hm, looks like maybe I will go for the Green now instead of the stage 4.....

Subiegal, yeah I've actually been to the drags quite a bit but everytime Im there there is not any rexs even into the 12's

Hey Joe thanks for the support...hehe...actually thats one of the reasons Im curious....seeing what direction I want to go in....now I have to seee what Im going to do with my Phillipino girl friend........

Jesse...wow, thats pretty good--I think Daves the winner so far, hmm....the fastest subaru that I know to date overall is ali ashfars esx scooby that ran like a 9.4 or something like that--in the northwest ? hmmmm....

Kevin....yea yea well see......

Danny, so it looks more like you are interested in quarter mile time as a measure for the fastest, what about a flying mile, or a 2 mile closed circuit track, or a WRC stage? For me, it is not the speed at the end of the quarter mile that counts, but what you do next at that speed. To build a straight line machine is one thing, but to build a machine that has that speed plus the ability to corner is much more a test of overall performance, and therefore the faster machine.

Actually I agree, but until time attack gets big here in the states Im stuck with quarter mile--ok ok I like driving it too

World One WRX STI... it got 2nd in the Primedia Time Attack for AWD Limited. Fast enough?

1/4 mile wise. The fastest I've seen was a 12.7 from a stage 4 02 WRX.

Dont forget that we got 6th overall. In our class the only car that beat us was the Sparco Evo8

The GpMoto car ran an 11.8 a few weeks back at Pir while a few of the pdx tuning guys where there. They have been working together lately to make some serious power.

Thanks man. I have yet to run mine in the 1/4, but maybe not until I get a stronger tranny. I think that DjDerazio dude sold his wagon and got an STi. He is probably in stealth mode now
