High pressure air to blow away all the dust and grim, Simple green or similar mild detergents, then to finish the touch CD2 engine bay detailer, it makes your engine look new and shiny. make sure and do this atleast every other month

Step one wash spray Simple Green onto cool engine.
Step two let stand 5 or so minutes then rinse off with water do not spray but just let it run over engine. Cover electronics with plastic bags etcc if you want ( I dont never had a problem just be smart about it) Step Three dry off engine with a air hose or with towels. Step four wipe down hoses adn plastic with Aerospace protectant This is my version there are many others with other products. This is what I have used for many years and I like the way it looks. But the SEARCH button is your friend. |

I end my wash by letting my car warm up to running temps, and then take it for a hard quick drive to get possible water in hard to reach area's dry.

I use a gas powered blower to blow standing water away. Alot of my friends use blowers on their motorcycles after they wash them. Works great. Also use it after I wash the exterior instead of a chamios or towels.

be sure to stay away from the high pressure wash, I blew off a gas line over the weekend and everytime I start my car the cab fills with the smell of gas, getting fixed tomorrow, this will be interesting.

Drive to DIY carwash...
Spray warm engine down with this... Let stand 10-15 minutes, then use high pressure rinse to rinse the engine off... Then spray this on... Let sit for 10-15 minutes, then wipe the excess off... All done. |

Invisible glass is for glass but can be used on clear pastics like headlights and tailights. Not really useful when cleaning an engine, but I was just commenting on how good Stoner products are in general.
