ehh it recognizes the ecu, says 2006 wrx sti usdm or whatever, but accessmultipier I tried them all to no avail, and the engine load I beleive I'm at least close, it does range from .3 to 2.5, but I think its supposed to be between .3 to 5.7 so I think I am a bit off... I dont know... Is there any other free datalogging software that might do a better job?

Your load numbers are fine. The 32bit ECU ('05+ STi and '06+ WRX IIRC) load numbers are 1/2 those from the 16bit ECUs. Just the way the ECU stores the numbers...You can always log MAF(g/s) and calculate Load from that.

The '06 STi that I have done logging for has the Advance Multiplier at FF2570 (pretty sure anyway).

Are you using DL1 or ecuExplorer? The latter is the updated version that you should be using.

no i don't know much about the free datalogging SW. I know openecu.org has some stuff too. . . but it wouldn't surprise me if all the glitches haven't been worked out for 06's yet. REMEMBER IT IS FREE

I've paid for my datalogging SW, it works... just as expected.

I use Street Tuner SW by Cobb. . . i think it's like a 200$ addon to the AP, and this allows full tuning of your ECU in addition to logging.
