Lookin to do a turbo upgrade...can my stock tranny handle it?
Hey guys, I have been lookin into buying a 16g turbo and the works, will my transmission be able to handle that much more power? I'm currently running cobb stg2.

I've got a big16g and it can handle it quite fine.
You can tear up the stock tranny with the stock turbo. Just drive smart, don't launch all the time...I rarely EVER launch unless I'm at the track racing. The 16g's torque really isn't much to shred gears from a roll either. |

alright thanks guys would you go with a front mount or top mount with a 16g.

i would just pick the power level & buy the supporting parts--then drive sanely. these trans can handle the power if driven correctly. i drive like an idiot, so that's why i have a dogbox.

Yah Ive been driving like an a** and im geussing thats why my 4th grear is grinding. When I get it fixed and do my upgrade ill treat it much better then i have been.
