Default Poorboys Wheel Sealant VS Wheel Wax

From those who have used both, please say which you like better and why.

protects about the same, but wheel sealant goes on an off so much easier.

Can't speak for the Poorboy, but the wheel wax is a pain to get off if you let it dry to long (i.e. more than 10 - 15 minutes)

I've always been a fan of Poorboy's, never had a "bad" product from them, or something I'd never use again.

I would like to try the stuff myself. Let us know if you use it.

I ordered some of the Poorboy's last week, it should be here on Friday. I'll try to remember to put my impressions in this thread

I've tried Wheel wax and I agree, its a pain to remove. Especially when you have BBS wheels. I also tried Rejex and it seems like the heat generated from the brakes made it not last long?

I dont really drive the car often and it doesn't really endure the wet conditions that Seattle has to offer anymore, therefore I can't come up with any other reason why the rejex didn't last. Although the Rejex does work wonders on the car. Never used a different wax ever since, a few coats will last for almost a year.

WebMaster, where did you order your Poorboys sealant from? I tried looking for a reseller locally but no luck. I think I may try this sealant on my new wheels.

Use the poorboys, I just went through this same thing. I bought some new DP wheel glaze to try on my new rims. Its grape smelling and delicious, however it is a total PITA to get off and is not as silky smooth as the Poorboys. I've tried a couple others and I keep finding myself going back to the poorboys stuff

I did the first two wheels in the DP, and then got so tired of polishing it off that I switched back to the poorboys. I'll probably go back and do all 4 with another coat of poorboys...

-Smells delicious
-Easy to take off
-leaves a very smooth finish
-Holds up well

If you need some, just order it off their web page

I just use NuFinish on wheels. Its cheap, lasts, and is easy to apply and remove.

FYI, I polished and used the Poorboy's World sealant on one side of my car. I'll take a picture after a couple weeks of driving then try washing the wheels off with just a hose. However, I can already tell it's working well after just one day of driving in the rain.

The wheels look a little more glossy as well.

used the poorboys and its awsome. Its pink which is kinda weird and it smells like bubble gum but it works great. adds a good shine to the wheels

It's very easy to put on and take off and it really shines up the wheels...

there is nothing else I'd ever put on my wheels.....

Poorboys rocks
