Dude, you've BEEN able to buy a JDM STI 5-speed Duracon shift knob for your car and it's only like $50 and all over eBay. I've been waiting for my BRZ STI Duracon shift knob for most of the year and it FINALLY came out last week. It's about $90, too, so it's definitely a present for myself.

Getcha own!

Case is still weak after getting built. Get blast plates for it. Or girdle whatever the call it then you'll be close. Damn 1200 in labor? Now

Legacy 1-4 is what the internals are, stock 5th. So I guess it's not "built" but it is stronger than it was Haha. Does anyone know what a blown tranny goes for now a day's? I have a friend interested in it and I have no idea what price to put on it.

Moore Performance Blast plates. Good product. Should work well if you are not going drag racing and not going above 500 HP.

Yeah I like the LGT gears, frankly the LGT trans really should have been what they had put in the wrx from the beginning

+1 strong enough for what most people need. 6speed IMHOP is only good for Track Racing or DD. 5speed I believe is better for drag......not the WRX 3.9fd though.

Mike beat me to the blast plate info! I enjoyed my 4.11s but love my 6spd way more. Did the whole swap for about 3500. Best mod I've done but not for everyone. I chose my trans cause I wanted the heavy rear bias/open center diff config and limited slip front and the double overdrive for the commute I do. It's like best of both worlds for me! Lol
