Default Body shop in lake county, IL?

I came out from BestBuy and noticed a huge dent on the left passenger door. Some mother F@#$^% did this at a parking. Waited for about 20 min to confront the mini van driver parked next to me, but her door was not touching my passener door when its wide open. Must have been the previous car. This really sucks! Why the hell people do this to the other cars and take off irresponsibly
Anyway, can someone recommend a decent body shop in lake county, IL?
Any idea about how much it will cost to repair? The door need to be re-painted also.

Bodycraft in Antioch is pretty good, I wouldn't know about pricing though.

Winds for the bears game = 26mph gusting to 48mph
Fun stuff

There's also another place on rt 45 I think it's called Collision Repair?
It's fairly big and I've heard they do pretty good work.

Performance Restoration in Mundelein. GREAT work, you pay for it though. You might look into making an insurance claim.

My family has paid out the ass twice now to have Knauz in lake bluff do some work on our Honda Civic (even though they don't sell hondas or any japanese cars for that matter). It was certainly expensive but they did great work on the body, paint, and glass and I cannot tell that the vehicle was ever hurt.

I think the incident was due to the recklessness, rain and wind. It wasn't that windy at that time though. I will definately make a claim through my insurance. My comprehensive deductible is only $100. The cost of a brand new door shell is $320, so I figure around $600 is a fare price. Well, I will try Bodycraft and Platinum collision(on rt 45) since I live in Antioch.
Thank you guys.

I would pay out of pocket if it's less than $600 to repair. it's not worth putting on insurance.

I got cut off and hit a curb and had 2K in damage(called police, filed report....)
My insurance went up $70.00 per month and who knows if it will ever go down. As I have already paid more in higher rates then the claim was worth.

I guess, your case was covered under collision coverage. My case would be comprehensive coverage. Hopefully, the insurance adjuster sees it as comprehensive damage.

Went to Body Craft, Inc and the estimate was about $730 for the repair.
It seems higher than what I expected.

I have State Farm, when I made a claim on some scratches on my car (it was keyed) my premium didn't change a bit because it wasn't my fault. Call your agent and explain the situation, I'm sure they'll tell you the exact same thing.

Someone opened their door on my car when I was at Chipotle, but oh well. I can ask the guy I sold my 240 to, what his rates are.
