Differential or axle problem???
Hey it's been a while since I been on this site. My 07 STI has a problem up front, basically at low speeds it feels quite wobbley and it pulls hard to the right at full throttle. If I put my DCCD all the way to the rear it goes away. Does anyone know what this could be? Pm me or email me at j.saa.engratgmail.com

Whatever it is be careful not to make it worse by hammering the throttle

Sounds like torque steer up front. Is one of the front half shafts disconnected or broken?

Also check for play in the steering system and ball joint. Having the right front wheel with extra play could cause the wheel torque off in a direction when power or torque is pushed through it. Have you hit anything recently with the right side?

If u have checked everything over and everything is good when was the last time u had an alignment done. Toe could be out which can cause pulling to one side or the other.
Have a look at your tires to see if there is uneven or excessive tire wear. |

If it was an alignment issue, would it make a slapping sound, and wobbly feeling at low speed, when the torque is evenly split?

How old is your suby plus mileage. Have u checked your bushings also. Is the slapping sound feel like metal on metal?? Could be an axle if its making a clicking sound if that's what you mean by slapping sound |

Another piece of info is that firestone(where I take my car for lifetime alignment told me sometime ago I need to replace my camber bolts in order to properly align it anymore, which I never did).

There's bushings all over in your suspension, have a look where every part meets one another take a bar and pry in between to see if there excessive movement and deep cracks in the rubber. |

For anyone who cared, or has the same problem, it was the passenger side front differential roller bearing. Some how it warped, and it looks like it is due to someone bottoming out pretty bad. Car is fixed now, and drives perfectly again. Hope this helps!
