Yeah, I'm excited as ****.
Seriously. You cannot go wrong with an ES game, and I freakin' loved Morrowind and Oblivion. The only thing I ask is for them to include a better character creation system, but other than that, I'd be happy with a new setting and new quests. I'd also like it if they included more..exotic, mounts. |

On the other hand I hope that they get more than five character voices. Rumors I heard were they were wanting to try an mmo, but I doubt it will be. |

****. Yes.
My only concern is that they pull an Oblivion and have basically the entire game open at once. I lost track of so much **** and got so lost that I gave up on that game in frustration. Morrowind was perfect in that regard. |

A graphically updated Morrowind would be perfect

I hope Bethesda takes the elements that worked so well in the Fallout series and adapts them (Perks, Combat System, and a REAL Quest Interface) - then you'd be flirting with perfection. |

bump
Because this needs to be bumped. I saw this as it was being broadcast during the VGA's. I know what I'm doing on Thanksgiving next year. |

YES. I hope they learn a lesson from Obsidian's work on New Vegas and actually hire more than 2 people to do voices for this one. You'd think between Oblivion and Fallout 3, they'd have enough scratch to hire enough people that every single character in the game world doesn't sound exactly the same.

I can't wait. I have over 200 hours in Oblivion.
I'll wait a while before I'd buy though. Got screwed out of a few quests because of a bug on the 360. The PC version you could just reset the quest via console. Not so much on the 360. |

I hope whatever graphics engine they'll ultimately use for TES5 will be as modable and flexible as TES:O was (errr.. is. It's unbelievable how many mods are still being released for TES:O.)
My fear is that they'll release an engine that's hard to work with (a la UT3) and the mod community goes lame, which is sort of what happened with UT3. |

Given the relatively short timeframe, I guarantee it's going to be an incremental development from Oblivion/FO3. |

I hope so, but I recall from the tesnexus site that the dev team was considering using the Unreal engine. I can't access the site from here, but I was gravely unamused by that comment.

Woot!
And as Predwolf said, I'm in regardless, but I'd love a better character creation system. |

I hope this game isn't using the same gamebryo engine, it is getting a bit old in the teeth. I am guessing/hoping they are using CE3 or UE. I would like to see them just fix all the obvious that has plagued oblivion & the fallout series: horrible character animation & horrible voice acting. According to IGN Bethesda has developed a brand new engine for the game.
