Good luck in basic, sir. *salutes*. Man the v3 is so awesome. I looked into the trade in program for my v2 but they want $400 on top of my v2! DAFUQ?!

I love the air force. I'm about to start my 7th year in. Do you know what afsc you are in yet?

Tbe + tune = great bonus on the butt dyno

Dude called my FXT a slow **** box today. He then tried to speed away in his late 90s accord. I easily pulled past him and away.

Yes my AFSC is 3E032, electrical power production. And yeah I was thinking of getting a tune after I get my car back after tech school. And I know I saw a picture of it somewhere in this thread. The white one? I love the look of it.

Good choice. I'm a 2T2, air transportation. I love it. Congrats on your future career.

Yup, the white one. I love the 2014 now that I've had it for a while. That FA20DIT is great so far

Ah, Power Pro guy. How long is your guys school? Asking as Prime Power from the army side, and I always hear about how much more extensive our training is, especially from the line work trained guys. Granted, ours is an NCO only job, with an almost year of the schoolhouse. Enjoy the electrical training though!!

haha... My grandmother sat in my wrx and thought it was really nice. I didn't dare take her for a ride. (She's 85 and is starting to have some trouble.)

I wonder how many of us here have taken their grandparents for a ride and what the end result was.

I ended up having to take my Grandmother and my Aunt back to the airport after their visit. Softened up the coilovers to make them more comfortable even. My Grandma said it was a very nice ride, but my Aunt was in the passenger seat and said 'Well, that was fun, thanks for not killing us!" when we got there. LOL. She should see a video of her own driving.... /sigh

Our technical school is only 42 days I believe, even though I wouldn't mind spending a year or more in school to get a little more in depth with the training...

Gotcha, yeah, not nearly as in depth then. Then again, if I knew then what I know now, I may not have wanted to go THAT in depth. Simply put, imagine drinking from a fire hydrant, that's what the schoolhouse was like, or at least the first ~4 months which are the academics portion. A years worth of college level math (algebra, trig, physics, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering) all crammed into <4 months.

That's why if you ever meet one of us "Papas", we're all a little crazy. Or maybe that's something to do with electrical work. Who knows.....

Well I have background on some if it so hopefully it won't go too bad. I took one year of mechanical engineering and then switched majors to electronic engineering for two years so I have pretty well versed in math/science portions since my degree was a math/science concentration. But relearning it all in that short of a period may turn out to be somewhat mind boggling.

Anyways I am over my friends having a wash our cars get together. His dad comes out and says nice car, do you think it can beat my sons (2006 350z with no performance mods and 20" wheels) I said probably if I launched my car but I'm not hard on it. His reply: yeah Kyle used to burn out sometimes when he has his old tires. I just said yeah and continued washing hahaha

More funny than most of these made up stories or things we've heard many times.

Spectacular addition good chap! Where did you hear this witty quip?

Oh...that's right.

In the foz today someone asked V4 or V6. I politely inquired on the engine of his marvelous sunfire. Just as I suspected, a V4

I took my grandma for a ride once. She told me not to scare her so I did 95 to pass a guy. There were some extremely strange sounds coming out of her mouth. and I still hear about it to this day, so it backfired on me.

I took my grandmother for a ride when she came to visit me in okinawa while I was in the air force. We went up and down senaga island sideways in my supra. Strange noises were coming out of her too lol. She wouldn't go again.

They're still used in motorcycles, but I don't think they've been used in cars since the 70s.
