I got the itch for one and have a deadline of May '15 to have a Suba in the driveway.
When I was shopping for a used Subie in January in MI it was hard to find a 2011-2013 hatch with what I wanted. I decided to buy a new 2014 because it really wasn't that much more to buy new, the interest was better through Subaru/Chase, and I got exactly what I wanted. In the past I have had to travel pretty far for used cars/bikes that I wanted, so there's a trade off between local and gettting what you really want in my opinion. I hope your search goes well and you can find what you're looking for close to home.

My 08 STi hatch is for sale. All built and ready to go. Currently making 501 at the wheels on 93. If you wanted something a little more than mellow...

c10seth- Thanks man. I've considered it but at this point I'm just looking. I'd really like to to stick to my guns here but then again I've not actually went to the Subaru dealership and talked numbers.

ko843030- I had a ride along yesterday with a stage 2 '11 STi and that thing was sick. It's just hard for me to see dropping that kind of cash and have that kind of power for my daily driver. I appreciate the off though.

Maybe once I make a purchase I can save up and get an older STi to play with.

2011/2012 WRXs will be difficult to find almost anywhere (particularly the 2011). The Tsunami that hit Japan in March 2011 took a big chunk out of production.

There are plenty of how-to's on how to do it, so it might just be easier that way. And cheap too. I need to do mine, just honestly don't want to have to drop the bumper cover and grille to get them out.

Hey guys, Jeremie here from Subaru Concord, been a while since I have been on here, first off, I have to say thanks for all the kind words towards the middle of this thread, it is nice to know that some people appreciate the work I do, taking care of my fellow subie owners, I am hoping to be more active in the community at the beginning of the year, 2014 has been a rough year for me and my family so I am looking forward to getting it over with, some of you may know the struggles we have went through, and once again I appreciate the kind words and support, if you guys need anything please let me know, I am also looking for someone to bake headlights, bought a nice heat gun but honestly too afraid ill goof it up lol

Define custom headlights. Like painting enclosures, or the actual bulbs and such?
