Default Splicing in an E-Manage Ultimate (guide)

I did my write-up on how I spliced in my E-Manage Ultimate.

I posted it in the "Engine Management and Tuning" section since that's really where it belongs.

Here is the link...

E-Manage Ultimate Install Guide

What I did, while written for the E-Manage Ultimate, can easily be done for any engine management system.

But in the case of my guide, I included a chart I made specific to the E-Manage Ulitmate with respect to wire colors and such.

sweet, nice write up!

Now I assume that if we just get the wideband o2 sensor and hook it up, when tunning the Emanage software can show you the running A/F ratio correct?
So you don't really need a wideband o2 gauge.

I'm assuming thats how it works. I was just planning to run the Innovate LC-1 without a gauge. I'd like to keep as few gauges out in the open as possible.

I was thinking about trying to find some sort of multi gauge display panel. I haven't found much accept for the PSI 3. From what Ive heard though it only displays things that can be read from the OBD-II port.

well you could go with the PLX 500, it can do A/F, EGT, Knock, etc all on one display. but its liek 500 bucks.

Think i will just go with the simple and cheaper way.

I ordered the cheap dash mount 3 gauge pod that Glow Shift sells for $36 shipped.

I was going to just put in a DIN plate below my stereo but then decided that I didn't want to look down to read gauges. The only two gauges I'll be using of signifigance are boost/vacuum and oil pressure. I'm filling the thirs openong with a cheap Equis volt meter. My other two gauges are Autometer cobalts.

With the E-Manage keeping the AFR under control I see no need for an AFR gauge. I might do an EGT gauge later on.

From what I've read, the ECU pinouts are exactly the same so yes, it would wourk just fine on an RS.

It should work the same for any OBDII GC8.

That's also what is delaying my install of just about everything. My last exam is on the 18th. Then I have to do the front brakes on my 77 Cherokee and its time to add a turbo to the scooby

Default Chart still floating around?

Anyone still have the chart floating around? I was hoping to cross reference the ECU pinouts with my 98LGT project when I finish making my own chart as a check.
