Default 08/09 STI gauge options?

Need to grab a set of gauges (boost/egt) with a holder and figure out how and where to mount em on a newer model STI. With the airbags on the pillar that seems out of play. Clock cluster seems like a no go as well. Am I confined to the steering column or does anyone have better ideas or suggestions? Also any recommendations as to which brand (looking at Defi so far) and if someone has pics of an install I'd love to see it. Thanks.

I went with the steering column location, it's hidden and out of sight (mostly anyway). I've seen some mounted off to the side above the gauges (not sure what that part is called; but it's basically the frame of the gauge cluster).

There are tons of brands you could choose from. If you have the extra money and want the Defis, I'd say go for them. But there are more cost effective gauges such as Prosport, Omori, even the SPT is less expensive than the Defi.

Hmm... ok so I'll look into the other brands as well and assume the steering column is the only place. Does anyone know a certain gauge holder that works best for the 08+STI's? Anybody with pictures to gimme an idea what I can do...?

Maddad has a 52mm white/red boost gauge as well. There are a few companies working on pods. Zerosports has one now availble for the LHD GR.

A huge discussion on mounting and pods.
