I'd like to play a game.. Guess my horsepower before I hit the dyno Saturday!
Ok I am going to the dyno Saturday. What do you guys think I will put down? I have an idea but would like to hear your opinions.

Also do you guys think it would be beneficial to use a K&N Typhoon short ram intake with "heat shield" or just keep the stock box with K&N drop in and Perrin after MAF?? I have both.

^^ haha thanks
Well its already been street tuned and is pushing 23psi tapering to 18psi.. Jay says there is a good amount left to go but I do not have a wide band yet so we are going to fine tune it saturday on the dyno. |

Im going to say 290whp and I would go k&n intake since you will be getting a retune anyway I personally love the sound of intakes on turbo vehicles!!

Good question.
93 octane I'd say 275WHP, E85 I'd say maybe 310-330WHP, although I'd assume 93 octane based off injectors. I would use the stock intake personally because I like the safety. At those power levels it's probably not too much of a choking point. |

I will be using pump 93 octane. I generally fill up at Mobil.
Im also going to put out there that it feels much faster than my buddies LGT (EJ25) w/ a vf 52 and turbo back that made 265 AWHP (dont recall torque) on the same dyno. But we will have to see.. |

I made 281 at 18 psi. I have 117k miles so kept it conservative. You have headers and tgv deletes and 1 or 2 more mods so i say 300 to 305

Wow vf-22? Been a while since I've seen one of these in action. I'd venture to guess 288whp at 21psi on 93oct. You also need to take account for the white on black combo which I do like...I'll grant you 10whp. 298whp!

Right in there with the others, I'd say 280/270.

Nothing to really talk about. It seemed to be going well. Ran into a few boost leaks. Fixed most of them, however I still have a pretty good one. The BOV is leaking pretty good at higher boost levels. We ran a boost leak test and I could feel air coming out of it around 20 psi and far more at 25psi. ( i didnt really check it at anything under 20).
We kept turning up the boost controller to see if it would help at all. No dice. Torque would increase but it would still taper down to 15-16 psi by redline.. On the last run I turned the controller down by 3 full turns. HP stayed the exact same but lost 20 ft lbs because the peak boost was lower. The torque peak in this session was 284ftlbs. but turned it down to 264ftlbs. This turbo should hold 23 easy and only taper to about 20 by redline but I am seeing high peak but boost levels drop quick to around 15... even with this ***** boost leak the car put an end result of 259awhp and 264awtq. Once I square this leak away I will go back and turn it back up a bit. should be in the 280 neighborhood which is what I was expecting. Also keep in mind the humidity was quite high since it was raining on and off and sometimes down pouring.. Def not power making conditions. This dual piston design of the Forge BOV confuses me. They offer different spring rates for the large spring (it has the blue one rated for 23-30psi in there) but the one that seems to have the problem is the smaller one. There is a chamfer type seal (good seal/weak spring) for the small piston and then just a thin walled cylinder mating to a flat surface for the larger piston (terrible seal/good spring).. WTF Forge.. The small piston is so easy to push up, once that moves it relies on a very thin wall pushing down on a flat surface to seal which is not an adequate sealing surface...
