Tuning Philosophy

The goal of the Epic Engineering WRX Road Spring kit is to give the vehicle a more aggressive stance, and increase the intensity of the driving experience while maintaining a smooth and comfortable ride.

The overall balance of the vehicle is greatly improved reducing unwanted under steer. Pitch and roll motions are substantially reduced and turn in response is markedly increased.

Greater Neutrality and control introduce the element of throttle manipulation to the vehicles handling. Correspondingly steering inputs under braking are more effective as there is less dive during rapid deceleration.

Background

EPIC Engineering staff have decades of combined experience in the automotive and automotive aftermarket industries. Much of the staff have a history of working with Prodrive, Subaru, Mazda, BMW, ETC. Much of there work was at the OE (Original Equipment) level and bring that quality to the table with EPIC.

The springs are different. U commented that nobody makes an aftermarket shock/strut yet. They do. That's what I was referring to.

Btw for all you guys looking for a cheap but quality exhaust. I have the Nameless Performance axleback on my 2011 WRX and it's awesome. Can't beat the price, $300.00
Plus they are developing a midpipe that can be mated up with their axleback turning it into a full catback exhaust

No problem. Here is the main thread btw if any of you guys are interested.

The exhaust is definitely on the louder side but I've never had any cop trouble over the past 4ish months that I've had it. I also really like the fact that it eliminates the drone whenever the rpms drop below 2k.

a must purchase, they have a raw sound, not a tuned sound that the >$800 exhausts have.

I don't find it annoying at all. My car has wind noise, road noise & tire noise. The exhaust is just adding to the concert

u liking that Calery? It's really high on my list right now. I figure if it'll pose an inspection problem for me, it'll take 20 minutes to swap the factory cans back in.

I suspect it has to do with the angle/location of the midpipe and the desire to have equal flow out both tips (no idea really)

here is the craziness that is Subaru WRX stock sedan -vs- nameless
