I just called SOA with my VON.
Ordered: 12/9/2012
Allocation number: 201304
SOA says probably April timeframe.

Oh well, more money saved for me.

I would wake up at 4 am and browse nasioc religously and check my email every 15 minutes even though I knew I would not have any updates. I went to sleep thinking about the STi and I always dreamed about driving it. When I woke up, the first thing I would do was check Nasioc, my E-mail, and look up more reviews of the WRX/STi. I should also mention that I stopped going to the gym when my wait started because of all the anticipation.. I gained 15 pounds.

Now try to top that. I am pathetic as ****.

The wait for the car is a terrible experience. I wanted to cancel my order and purchase the one on the lot but it was sold and there was literally no STi's left in a 200 mile radius. I should learn to be more patient.
Back when I was in college I was the type of person who would do that too, fortunately I now have a full time job that doesn't allow me to the obsessive lol

I did mine over email.

I think I've read this on here already, but you can get your order status from SoA without a VON right?

I got it for invoice. That's what I asked for and that's what I got. Given how easy it was I probably could have done better, but I got the car I want at the price I was willing to pay and only have to wait 4 weeks instead of 10, so I was pretty happy. I'd also heard a lot of other dealers will do invoice on a fresh order but not one that is already in their pipeline so I am doubly pleased.

Yeah they can look it up with your name and location.

Just ordered a set of front & rear kartboy shifter bushings. Can't wait for my first mod. Still waiting to borrow my friend DSLR camera so I can take a few awesome picture for you guys. Then I'll be gone from this thread. I'll miss everyone.

Damn isn't that a long time? I sure hope my dealer wasn't bs'n me when they said it usually is a 8-12 week process. The wait is bad enough but if my expectation is 8-12 weeks 4-5 months would suck.

I ordered 12/15/12 only time will tell I guess

I ordered at the end of November and my dealer told me it might be a week or two longer compared to earlier orders due to the 2 week factory shutdown that happened over the holiday.

i've gone from 12.5% BF at the start of my wait, to 7.9% BF.

Also gained nearly 15lbs at the same time. But then again, ordering this car lined up with my 16wk show prep heh

Have you tried intermittent fast before? How did you lose BF and gain LBM?

i'm a bodybuilder, it's what we do

real talk i'm far to lazy to type it all out.
Basics are, a meal isn't a meal unless it's 50+% protein, I eat 8-9 "meals" by that definition daily, and carb cycle pretty intensely in the last 6wks of the 16.

Metabolism is like a fireplace fire, you have to feed it little bits constantly, not huge logs all at once. You want it burning at a steady, constant pace hence my meal frequency. Folks often think eating less means leaning out, NOT true it triggers the starvation response in the body and everything gets screwed up.

I ordered in November and I was completely expecting my car to show up in March at the earliest based off the minimum 4 month thing that Subaru said at the end of October.

Lol, you body builders are so crazy and I look up to you guys so much for being able to stick with a certain routine for so long.

I am by no means a body builder but I have tried carb cycling and eating a **** load of meals but I did not have the discipline to do it each and every day for months.

I discovered IF and did a 16/8 hour split and dude im not ****ting you, the fat was just melting off while having insane gain and stregnth at the gym (squats went from 225 to around 300 in a couple months among other things). BTW, I am a "if it fits your macros" type of guy and will eat mcdonalds if my macros allows it on a cut.It worked for a while.. until I started going waaayy over my macros.
Check out the Hodge Twins and be prepared for some bro science with a bit of real science inside:

You can actually watch their first vid and most recent vid and see how ****ing jacked they got while on IF.

haven't really seen a lot of other Nov. orders for Tri State & New England areas. Im coming up on 7weeks Jan. 7th and will be able to inquire about the controls on the 14th. Purchasing from Ramsey Subaru in NJ. It sucks not knowing anything at all for my eta and knowing 2 dealers in New England have the model/color I ordered. No way they'd even come close to the deal Ramsey laid out though.

What kind of things did you guys tell your dealer not to do/to do?

I'm thinking I'm going to request:
-No dealer sticker, license plate frame ok
-No detail
-No gas fill up, I'll do it myself

Anymore suggestions?

Funny I just sent my dealer an email with requests this morning:

No dealer sticker
No tire shine
No holes in the front bumper for license plate
