Hello,

When someone buys a Sway Bar combo from you, does it com with an installation guide? Also what difficulty would you rate the installation?

Hello,

Thanks for asking. Yes, all of our parts come with instructions and most of our products have downloadable instructions on our web site.

Sway bar installations are not that difficult, just takes basic hand tools, jack stands and some basic wrenching knowledge.

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Also do you need a perrin map to eliminate boost creep with the perrin DP. Or will the standard stage2 cobb tune work ok.

Looking for the most HP for the buck, so i think a DP would be the first part, but what next. I just have a cobb AP, and catback on my 06 STI.

Having the cat closer to the turbo will allow you a better chance to pass smog inspections. The catalyst will heat up faster and get hotter thus being more effective. Power wise, you will not see a real difference.

You will be okay with the Cobb map in most instances.

After the down pipe I would look towards an intake and a custom tune. We can help with both.

Dave,

The above post is correct, having the cat closer to the engine will heat up the cat better, making it catalyze better! The stock downpipe has cat in the downpipe in a similar spot for the same reason.

The COBB map will work great with our downpipe, but our map will make more power! To keep boost creep at a minimum, when flooring it on the highway, shift down a gear or two, flooring it in 6th gear at a low RPM almost guarantees boost creep on those cars.

What's the issue with powersteering line interfearing with your turbo inlet. Im refearing to this post. maybe it an old design?

With our current hoses, we haven't had any issues at all! We've worked hard to make sure that every single hose sold fits a lot better. We now triple check every hose before it goes into a box. The current inlet hose will contact the power steering slightly, but when it's installed, it won't put a huge dent in the hose like it would in the video.

That hose that the customer was installing was an older version hose, the current hose now has a solid white PERRIN logo. Thanks Dave!

I've noticed since I just went to install the perrin endlinks I got, that the "black washer" is now a silver washer?

and when it says for wrx wagons 04+ you need to drill, it should mean all wagons, because on my 02 wagon, the bolts too big

We would have NEVER told someone to Trim a hose! If we did it would have been the second option, first being to send it back! But for 100% your hose will touch the PS line on those years of cars. The OEM Inlet has a huge dent it to clear this, we just let the hose touch it and create its own dent. This allows for the biggest possible size tube to pass through that small area. This video does look like something is weird. It seems a bit long, which would make that area super tight.

Weird! YEs its all Wagons, not sure why it said 04 only! Thanks for the heads up, fixing that right now as well as the washer. We went to a stainless steel version a while back but never changed the picture. Thanks!

Nope not at all. If you have an issue, then hit up the Tech Team on here PERRIN_Jeff or PERRIN_Chris, or e-mail [email protected] or call us Monday at 503-693-1702

No matter what we will be sure to help!

(NOTE: if you bought a used item you should have the tech dept. check that it IS not a reject part out of the dumpster here that got sold on Ebay etc. Email them prior to installation.)

Thanks again!

Send the pics. If it is in a PERRIN box you should be fine, out of the box, missing installation instructions, hardware etc. then be wary.

Was looking at the Cat-back exhaust stealth for the 08-10 WRX sedan, it's no longer on your website. Are you no longer making them or just out of stock? Or did I totally just miss it?

J-5,

We did discontinue the stealth exhaust recently, sorry!
But the sedan polished exhaust is on our website here. There is a backorder for the polished exhaust however, but you can order the exhaust now, and we will ship it to you as soon as it's available, thanks!

Does your shortly antenna fit cars that have the satellite radio option? My reason for asking is your pictures only show the ones that can be folded down.

Here is a picture of what they look like.

Thanks for asking and for the photo. From the photo, it appears it is the same mast. But how about this, if you buy it from me direct at www.PERRINPerformance.com and it doesn't fit, I'll refund your entire purchase price.

Sound good?!
