I'm at 26000 too, its starting to feel slightly notchy but it may be my imagination
I think I might change the gear oil soon because I'll probably hit 30k when its cold out

Hmm well changing out your transmission fluid is a 30,000 mile maintenance so you're due for one at your next oil change.

I had the same experience. Between 25-30k miles the transmission started feeling notchier, shifts were generally not as smooth and it would barely go into first at anything other than a full stop. Finally got around to replacing the trans/diff fluid with Motul around 32k miles and it felt brand new again, the difference was noticeable immediately. Have around 7k miles on the new fluid at this point and it still feels great.

I used motul at around 30k and it's been much better ever since. I'm at 45k now. Reverse is easier to get into and also first while moving. I had some problems with second and third gear before too, but that went away with the motul

Won't know anything real for a little while, until it has been taken in and checked out. The tech was a master tech and saw exactly what I was talking about and agrees there is a problem which is half the battle. He says tgv is a non issue here, but might be egv, though he isn't sure and is going to research. Apparently other models he's seen have had similar issues.

Its a start but my appointment cant come fast enough. All the symptoms are coming back- rough bouncy idle, nearly stalling when backing out of my driveway, jumping/bouncing tach at relatively low engine speed, etc. Now it is getting to be at a higher rpm range, closer to 2500. Its most definitely not gas, and the weather has changed back and forth enough that it isnt likely to be the cause- humidity was high and low, temperatures are cool overnight and about 75 in the day, no rain, no real variation in pressure or weather.

Maybe the MAF? Sounds similar to vacuum leak symptoms too

I would start by cleaning the MAF sensor. Swapping out my intake and stock air filter box between dealership warranty claims caused my MAF sensor to become dirty causing my car to have a hard time starting.

Ill check into that. I've seen different techniques from just a quick spray to downing the maf in maf cleaner. Whats broscience and whats legitimate? I might just mention it to the shop and see what they say.

idk, I'm pretty stumped about my own car aside from the tgv possibility, luckily it seems better now in my case. It could be one of those things that is hard to figure out until it gets more severe. Probably no harm in cleaning your maf though.

Just keep bringing it to your dealership. If they can't fix it claim lemon law.

Vehicle:2012 impreza sport grey |
Has anyone "vinyl tinted" their tail lights on a 2012 impreza sport? I've got a grey one and I'm attempting to tint them matte black. I did the bumper reflectors and 3rd break light and it looks great. The tail lights are very intimidating. Any help or suggestions?
