Very nice. I think Ill be going the Koni insert route. Us wagon guys lose camber when we run any sedan shock and most decent shocks are sedan based. I want my camber. Ive never researched the rear diff or lock down bolts. How are those spring rates around town? I might have to ride with you sometime to get a feel.

I'm not really interested in the brakes but I'm sure either Cory or Garrett (when or if he gets a bugeye) would be interested. I'm kinda doing the brembo thing.......

The rates are not to bad at all, i contribute that to RCE's valving. It gets a little bouncy sometimes at lower speeds but quickly settles back. They are based off the kw v1's, but with better valving and higher spring rates. No problem, just let me know.

I actually would pass on the 4 pots. I'm a big fan of the Legacy Gt setup. Cheaper and near brembo sized rotors. Bolt on too. :-).

There ya go, I'm sure the pads and rotors are cheaper as well. Nothing beats a cost effective bolt on that works.

I need some opinions, what color for brembo lettering? The calipers will be gloss white, I have been thinking black, but jamie mentioned Blue and that wouldn't look bad...Ideas?

Eh idk how blue would look with white but it is super American. You could def go black with white for a nice subtle look. Or I've seen blurple with white lettering on my buddies evo and it looks amazing. That of course is if you wanna go flashy

Off topic question for you, would you happen to know how to do head studs on a 6.0 ford I may be acquiring one in the next few months

Chris I would go white caliper/black lettering.

It wont be flashy but enough to be noticed behind the black rims.

Be careful what your getting into. Head studs are not a driveway fix kinda deal, and the avg person/ shop either lifts the cab or pulls the motor. Do you know what has been done to the truck aftermarket wise and why it needs head studs? You might also be into new 6.0 heads or a fresh machine on the block.

If I were you I would forget 6.0 and get a 7.3 or the new 6.4 diesel. You should be able to find a decent 7.3 for under 15k.

I have never done them before, I'm not sure about my co-worker though. I work on mostly Cummins and Volvo with the assorted cats and Detroits thrown in.

I don't think the cab has to be lifted for the 6.0, i doubt he is asking due to damage. 6.0 at higher than stock power ratings have been known to lift the heads.

I had a short stint at Sherwood ford. They have 2 diesel techs. One lifted the cab to do headhaskets. One did them in the truck. I believe ford calls to lift the cab.

Agreed, you either lift the cab or you have to tear a whole heap of **** out of the engine bay to do the job (very technical description).

I'm down for karts and food, that place looks pretty cool. Track layout looks good.

I'm almost positive you don't have to pull the cab on the 6.0's. There's nothing wrong with the truck it's actually a good friend of mines. I was just curious because that head studs would be the first thing I would get done to the truck. It already has some stuff done to it. I talked to a good family friend who has owned and worked on just about every diesel truck out there and he said the 6.0 is actually very reliable once it's studded.

I thought about the 7.3 due to it being one of the best most reliable diesel motors out there but I'm undecided.

You don't HAVE to pull the cab but it makes it easier. The 6 is a good motor after studs and egr delete. As long as you take care of it.

It's already got the egr delete that was a must it's got subtle mods that I'd already want. And I know it's been well maintained and not beat to hell plus it's the green I want and it's a 4 door which is a must
