You talking about the RE/MAX Building there? That was the only building I can think of with even an overhang at in Chesapeake.

Yeh I'm pretty sure that's it. Its just one row of parking under a roof.

Yea thats it, i did a semi photo shoot there in the rain for my Si.

As for having meets out here, I can think of many places out here in the Chesapeake area where there is more than ample amounts of parking for a meet. I guess it would be just deciding where to do it at. I think to avoid the Freedom Wash scene, we should kinda have like 3 or 4 places to do it at, and just mix it up, so we dont get to be a "everyone with any car shows up". Keep it to the forum and just rotate between them, and maybe like every other week or so we could do a different food spot for dinner. Any thoughts on this guys?

My bad Brian. My sister brought my niece over, so I kinda got tied up with that lol.

My g/f said the One Life fitness parking lot is lit up. She'll ask her manager next time she works if we can use that parking lot. It's plenty big for those of you who know where I'm talking about.

So lets decide what night everyone can meet up. I saw lets do a vote.

Monday or Sunday night, does that work for everyone ??

It's all good. My nephew was over so it's basically the same haha.

Glad to hear the lights stay on. This should be good if we can get more people interested. Right now it's not too many but its a start.

I thought we agreed on Wednesday

jesus....are we having a meet every day of the week now?

Tuesday PHR, Thursday SSHR, Friday VBHR, Saturday VBHR and now Wednesday Chesapeake?

Im all for meets, but honestly....how hard is it to show up to a meet in VB or even make a trip to the peninsula.....Virginia Beach is right up the road from ChesVA

I understand. Just from my personal perspective, it would be nice to have a Chesapeake meet for us who live there. I live 15 minutes from the NC border so driving to VA Beach isn't the biggest deal (I drive to Norfolk Naval daily for work and VA Beach for the meets on weekends when I'm off) but it does suck to have to just to attend any car meets.

I work every Monday and Tuesday. I get off work, come home eat real quick if I'm hungry then bed so I can get some sleep before getting back up at 3:30/4 AM.
I could do Sundays maybe but I couldn't stay out real late because of work on Monday and also if it was on the weekends with my work schedule I would only be able to show up every other weekend.
For me, Wednesday is the best day but I completely understand that it's not for others.

Wednesdays could work for me as well. It sounds like Sunday is the best night for everyone.

Ok so whoever wants to attend, lets take a vote...

Wednesday or Sunday

Wednesday

And I think we should also weigh in what city the people voting are in. If all the VA Beach members say Sunday and the Chesapeake members say Wednesday but there are more VA Beach people replying it wouldn't make sense to just immediatly pick that day when they already have a meet setup for their city. Does that make sense?

What is this Thursday SSHR meet you speak of?

You guys are talking like there is 50 miles between the cities. Jeebus.....it kinda sounds rediculous. Are we going to need to start threads for Hampton and Newport News separately? Mike can't have a Poquoson thread cause he would be the only one

Really didn't think we would get so much flack for trying to start a Chesapeake meet for Chesapeake members but is open for others to attend.

It's looking like Wednesday is the dominant choice right now for the chesapeakians. and it pretty much looks like its just me and LowBoost right now.

So what time do you wanna meet up on Wednesday nights Brian ? ...and where.

If you're sticking to main roads, like the bypass and interstate to get into Va. Beach, you're doing it wrong. Look into the dock landing and elbow road/centerville turnpike route. Its almost all country, 45+ speed limit, and usually not that much traffic in the evenings/weekends.
