All of these bugeye wagons made me want to post mine. I've since sold my gold Prodrives. This summer I will be rocking matte graphite silver 17x8 +48 OZ Ultraleggeras with 235/45/17 Hankook v12 evo's. Can't wait to get them on.

It all depends on your budget. For $300 you can pick up some really nice springs. I would never put my wagon on any coilover cheaper than $1k. Unless you're a hellaflush stance bro

Well unless I find a nice set on here for a good price I think I might go with springs for now. Any ideas what's a good amount for the front and the rear and good brand? I also don't wanna go crazy. Maybe like an inch wheel gap?

Is a cheap set of coilovers horrible for track/hard parking/drag/etc use? Who knows?!?! Honestly, if the guy is looking to be a hard parker, then cheap garbage makes sense. If you ACTUALLY track a car, maybe it'll cost more for a set up. So, before we can tell krz12 what we would suggest, maybe we ask him if he plans on more than just lowering his car. SO, krz12, what are your plans for your car? |

I don't track my wagon and i bought coilovers just to lower it, but i mean i had to save up a couple months for them. I would rather run coils than springs.

So that means hard parking it is what you want to do. That's cool. Not my cup of tea, but I guess I'm more of a function of fashion person. But the difference is you know what you want. I doubt you posted questions asking what you should do. Which is why I posed the question to the other guy.

Like I said, its cool. Just not my cup of tea. I believe you can drive fast, and take tight turns, I just have a different view. And a different angle about asking people what they want to do with their car before I suggest mods.

No guys, I'm not looking to race my wagon. I just wanna get rid of the massive gap in the front. Even it out. I want to make it look nice.

I look at it this way: you can spend $450 or so on rokkor coils, have them blow after a year or two, and then buy another set. Or you can save up a little longer and buy a set of quality coil overs, and never have to replace them. I have no problem putting racelands/rokkors/whatever on a beater/budget that is in desperate need for a suspension change. Heck, my miata is on $700 Megan's. But why would you ever spend $10k on a WRX and then put it on cheap coils that perform worse than stock struts and springs? I guess I'm just not on board with the latest stance fad |
