WooHoo! Pending the car getting back together successfully, Kent D. and I will be back participating in Rally Tn! AFAIK Anders and Amy are already registered. Looks like the NC contingent is going to be strong at the two Tn events.

As far as location of the city of Cleveland, it is off I - 75 it is about 20-30 minutes from Chattanooga TN, which is about 3 hours from Atlanta. From Knoxville TN i would say Cleveland around 35- 60 minutes depending on Knoxville traffic. Of course i drive kinda fast..
i can't to go and check this out... |

So I've been making maps of the route from Asheville to Cleveland (the rally HQ) and was surprised to see that the much longer interstate-only route should take slightly less time than the route I was planning to take through the Nantahala then Ocoee.
Anyone driven the interstate from Asheville to Cleveland? Is it really as fast as the maps show? I've driven to the Ocoee from Asheville many times. It usually takes me 2:40 or so. --Kevin H. |

I always take 40. Even when I'm not towing the race car. Unless I WANT to spend an extra hour driving twisty roads.
And sometimes I do. Anders |

So here's the schedule... Leave Sunday night, come back on Monday late. I'll be there less than 24 hours. Nate, think you'll make it to the Dragon? Right now, it looks like I'll be able to make almost the entire week so that'll make up for it. |
