Thanks, Medio. I guess you are "supposed to know," but I know it's different in other states and it's been over 10 years since I've taken any driver's test. I'm more of a creature of habit. I go there ALL the time, so this morning was nothing special, but now I'm supposed to accept that all those other times were exceptions.

Oh well. I'll try to contest it. Thanks.

Yea, like I said it's one of those wrong place at the wrong time kind of situations. Wherever you go it's your responsibility to know and abide by current state laws. Leniency is given to a lot of military members in the cases of say tint as a good example.(Go figure a state with 20+ hours of sun during the summer each day is against tint) and obviously other exceptions when traveling come into play sometimes as well.

Though speed limits definitely don't apply, otherwise everyone coming back from Germany will be like: "Ya! Freeways = Autobahns!"

If you can't get it removed push for a drop in cost.. discuss bills being tight .. blah, blah blah.

I remember when I got a ticket for no front plate and contested it. The ticket price was cut in half.

You gotta pay to play! hahaha

Thanks, guys.

Yeah show up to court, dress professionally, talk respectfully, and the judge might be nice.

As far as the ebay shipping you can argue with a lot of them that state 'continental' US, very few actually say contiguous. Last time I checked we're on the same continent.

WGMG: NASIOC being down at 1am every morning, which for one reason or another just happens to be when I'm trying to find some information. EVERY TIME ALWAYS EVER. AHHHHHH.

You know that downtime time as well!
That's usually when i grab something to snack on or decided to go to sleep.
As you probably know, everything goes back online at 1:30am

But it's a good kind of pain, right? And you're supposed to give them a minute to adapt to the milk, ya crazy.

Noooo.

And it's tough to do, because if you let them soak in the milk too long they become soggy...I don't like soggy cereal

And wow, I just realized how redundant "upper roof" sounds lol

WGMG:

Used car prices.

Despite my car's mileage (and condition), it's worth about $28k according to NADA.

The 2010 DGM hatch that Tsircou is looking at IS worth about $27k... WTH?

I just hate that everyone gave me grief about my car's asking price last year when I was trying to sell it. The market is so jacked.

I'm glad our cars are already holding their value, instead of the five grand people used to say you lost driving it off the lot.

It's a toss up. When I was trying to sell my car people were all, "I can just get a new one for that price." I had to guess what the value was since it was considered "new" and it looks like I was right on the money at the time. *shrug*

Right, but would you buy one that has been driven or one brand new for a little bit more?
If I had to choose, I'd go with the one with less miles and slightly more expensive.

Sorry, that's what I was aiming to say. If it were me, I would've gone for the new one, too, not the used one. However, I was just peeved that people acted like my price was crazy when in fact used car values have risen AND Subarus are pretty much at the top of the list for highest resale values.

I'm in total agreement with you.

Used Subaru Values have risen in Alaska. Part of the value of a vehicle is its location. Example being your car loses another 1k if you tried selling it in Virginia nevermind Florida.
