Maybe you should focus on making this thread productive. I don't think SOA Blog has time to read through the garbage. You guys have enough threads for that.

Impreza sales have been strong. Is SOA satisfied with WRX sales so far? Thanks. |

1. Does the subaru legacy spec. B have exactly the same engine and ecu as the regular legacy GT? 2. Were the 2005 legacy GT engines the same as the more recent engines? 3. A tuner company tested SI drive and they indicated it only allowed 98% throttle opening on Sport Sharp mode. Why would that be? Thanks! |

will the 3.0r be around for 2009? will it be rebadged the 3.6r? can they please get a little more sidewall on the 3.0r, it hits the small potholes a little too hard. is it possible to tune the turbo engines to work on regular gas all the time? and if yes how much hp would be lost? |

I would buy a Spec B in a heart beat, if it had an automatic option. First thing I would do, remove the 18" wheels and put on a set of 17" wheels and 225/50/17 tires. SOA Blog - please make the low profile tires a dealer installed option. Low profile tires remove any rugged nature a Subaru has, and take away from the ride quality. I know they look nice, but after 3.5+ years with my '05 LGT, I do not like the ride quality. |

i felt the difference when going back to stock on the 3.0r. 18"to 17" rims
it was about 13.745% softer. the car just needs grippier oem tires. which leads me to another question. SOA blob the subarus get "killed" by other cars in car test because of so-so tires. why don't they get better oem tires to "save face" in car tests and answer our complaints? |

SOA Blog,
Now that the next-generation DVD format war is over, what are the chances Subaru will beat everyone else to the punch and offer a rear entertainment Blu-Ray entertainment system in the 2009 Tribeca? We have a rear entertainment system in our '06 that is used pretty much non-stop, but we have switched over to Blue-Ray and have been buying more and more Blu-Ray movies are are pretty much only held back because of our Tribeca's system. I guarantee in the next couple of years, all of the other premium brands (even non-premiums) will offer it and Subaru will be standing there like a fool if they don't offer anything of the like. |

SOA Blog,
I am ready to get an STi but I am now worried about the paint issues raised on this and 4 other Subaru websites. Some dealers are saying there is a fix in the works. There are at least 3 others I know that want to buy an STi but have also held off because of this issue. SOA needs to address this issue as it is not going away and it has also made it to general car websites. My question...Is there a fix, will the cars be covered? I cannot be refered to the warrenty dept as I don't yet have a car to file a claim on...but it is important as far as my and other purchasing goes. |

Thanks |

SOA blog,
After thorough research on the OEM aerodynamic pieces on the GD model imprezas, I have been unable to find any data on the one rear spoiler I would like to run (because it is more sedate than the other two OEM rear spoiler options) Is there any chance you could provide lift/downforce data for the STI Limited's rear spoiler? Or a wind tunnel picture, that would work too. Thanks, -AW |

I did not ask for details. I asked when the details might be released.
For example, it was no secret what individual auto shows the WRX and STI were respectively revealed to the public last year. |

Hey y'all.
Sorry, can't talk about the "whens" or "whats" of product enhancements. As for tires - the mags like to test the ones that come standard with the car.. and they are in the most part a reasonable compromise between ride, handling and performance. There's always a better tire to do one particular thing... |

Dear SOA Blog,
What happened to a dedicated coin holder in the new Impreza? It was one of the biggest disappointments for me after I bought it. The rectangular area in front of cup holders that I believe supposed to serve as a coin holder doesn't do a good job. Also, on a side note, while I understand that money FHI saved on interior plastic that only looks good were probably put into better standard options, I, personally, would not mind to pay few extra bucks for the plastic that feels nice as well. At least in the places that being touched a lot, like visors and area around door handles. Thank you. |

Dear SOA Blog,
Who is/ are the engineer(s) responsible for designing the Legacy exhaust systems? I noticed that the dual exit tips are not properly spaced (top clearance to bumper cutout) and am shocked that this detail had been overlooked during final inspection. Do I expect too much? Am I anal for noticing the rest of the car's fit and finish (which could be better), although it is a beautiful car. PS - Many, many consumers are waiting for a true Legacy STi. Is anything being done about it or do you have to wait until Mitsu comes out with a more competitive Gallant? -Brian |

SOA Blog - When can we expect SPT parts for the 2009 Forester XT. I'd like to see an intake and a mean sounding exhaust. Can SOA work on an ECU tune for the SPT parts to maximize the performance gain and better utilize the parts? I would like it to be as quick as my 2005 Legacy GT (w/ 5EAT).
