Hahaha i know right. I had a Chipped p28 "skunk 2" ecu with a 3,200 vtec cross-over. Thought that thing was the fastest car in the world cause it ran 14.2. Then again that was 13 years ago and that was pretty quick considering.. Now every car the comes out runs 13's or quicker stock. It was a better time.lol

My car had the F23 motor and the VTEC engagement was variable, but it would come on as low as 2,000rpm's under normal acceleration. It was basically a gas-saver VTEC instead of performance. You couldn't hear or feel it at all. Anyways, enough with the Honda's! I just wanted to post a slow car as a reference

Too bad you didn't do a 50-100mph run! Then you would know for sure which one was faster! I am really fortunate I did one with my old car. Now I know without a doubt that the Subaru is faster!

I'll check it out. I was thinking that I could troll YouTube and use those. I'd rather have good mod lists with them if I could though.

I'm going to try an 80-160kph (same as 50-100 I think) as I think it should be faster if I do it in 3rd and 4th gear opposed to this 60-160kph graph where I'm doing an extra shift.
I've been doing 60-160 graphs ever since I started upgrading my Suby back in 2005. I have found its a great way to track improvement.

I got a speeding ticket while taking video for this stupid thread. I was very relieved when the cop said he got me for 85 in a 60, and even more relieved when he wrote the ticket for 69 in a 60. My V1 never went off and the cop literally came out of nowhere a few seconds after I stopped filming and slowed down.

Oh and right before I shot this, I had the front wheels off and I think I knocked a wheel weight off, hence the shaking.

While going frame by frame in movie maker I get 4.5 seconds +/- a tenth. I think I could improve if I brake boost 3rd gear, but I'm not going to push my luck with the local cops.

I'll try to get this updated soon!

If he kept changing the numbers it means he probably didn't even get you on radar/laser and just saw you flying past.

We were trained in visual so he can write it like that. Also the lower he's just being nice so your fines aren't high and not more than 2 points.

It was at ~490 airboy and 530 virtual dyno (dynojet) with AFR right at 12.0, then I added some fuel and another pound of boost. I have not checked AFR since then but it is probably around 11.6ish now.

Traps... I don't know. But I've driven the car with a tune that trapped 125, and with a tune that trapped 132, and it feels closer to the 132 tune

Forgot about that one. That would be a good comparison point because it has a trap speed associated with it.

If you know all the mods and the power they are putting down do it. I recomend that you keep the list on excel and just copy and paste it when you edit it. If you dont it will be really difficult to edit just like my E85 army thread. Also link the single post that has their mods and video to their name if you want for easy viewing.

I really want to see your car running at the track, your time is really impressive. My car is down again i will make a high boost run in about two months.

I didn't see any stock STI on the list so I figured I'd give it a go. Man I must really suck at driving. A stock STI seems so slow compared to all these built cars. I logged using the AP on a stock map.
