It looks a lot like a BBS emblem in the middle. Since those are what Subaru has been using, that would be my first guess.

i don't think they are the bbs gtr because if you look closely they are slightly different. the way the area around the lug nuts bends on teh gtr is different than those and it looks like the ones in the picture are more of a champagne color too. hmmmmm. i'll look into it too.

those are bbs, they were a factory or dealer option on 02 wrx's, around 3000 for the option, 17x7 bbs rg's or rgr's i believe

I dont think that's bbs either.
There are a few other brands make same or similar style of bbs, like ASA. VOLK also has that kinda mesh type of rims. IMO VOLK's one better than bbs. |

That's the factory option, definitely. I recognize the picture from the catalog.

However those above were another option as well.... http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/wrx-wheels.html $2600... they're a forged multi-spoke, may have been specifically made for the WRX back when. And they still are available as an option, if you go to subaru's website...there's no specific model to them. They're just a multispoke. Keith |

they're not rgr's but they're very similar. the rgr's have holes in between the lug nuts and the others don't. i wonder if you could find those wheels any cheaper than the ones on the subaru website?

They are the 2002 WRX Option. And yes these were the option for '02 models, because I remember looking at them in the sale manual and online before we got my '02 WRX. Just didn't like the price.
