So with the AP you just plug and play? No tuning need? That would be nice. Very new to EM trying to soak up info before buying.

Well the first thing is to flash a base map to the ECU ... A base map is what the ecu will go back to when the ecu is reset. This can be done up to 100 times (If you need to or want to change to a diff. base map) ... meaning if you disconnect your battery and reconnect....your Base map will still be active.... After your base map is flashed it is now PnP.... Cobb calls this Real-time maps... this can be done an unlimited amount of times. For example I have a VF34 Base map and I'm going on a long trip ... so I flash a real-time STI injector economy map for better gas mileage....When I want more fun I pull over and change my real-time map to the VF34 map again ... I can do that an unlimited amount of times.

hope this helps a little

I forgot to answer your ? You do not have to dyno tune. When the Access Tuner comes out you can add mods that Cobb's maps don't support and then get it tuned... At least that’s my understanding
