Default 2005 STi Brake Squeaking Problem

Ive searched and no topics have shown up on it...


Im sure someones posted this before, so dont give me shyt about it...

Just wondering if thats normal after the break-in...

Just swap with a WRX owner for his stock braking system and your squeak will go away. Problem solved.

ninja edit: You didn't give enough details. Bone stock? upgraded pads? Nice brakes squeak a bit. You can try a few remedies like removal and reinstallation with lots of anti-squeal, etc. Sand down the pads and rotors lightly to see if you have deposit material causing issue (probably not it, but never hurts.) Really though, if it's squeaking a little here and there then it is operating perfectly and there isn't much you can do about other than to turn up the radio.
