I know everyone's different. I'm only analyzing to understand. I guess I could just call them myself and ask. Hopefully they're the original owner.

No different than someone with a WRX Hatch.

Hell does Katelyn ever drive hers as an example?

I'm in the market for a $10k Wrx that's why I've been keeping an eye out. Just wondering if any mechanics have worked on them and if they are lemons; a PM would be preferred.

What's worst are these morons with "no frame damage" blah blah blah but lets charge regular rate.

Doesn't matter. Anyone that thinks otherwise is an idiot and just fooling themselves.

A reconstruct title is a reconstruct title. Doesn't matter frame damage or not, the vehicle's value is trashed either way. Sure frame damage will be less in value vs one that's not but do not think that no frame damage entitles anywhere near book value. There is a reason why these cars sit forever and never sell.

Mako there was a blue bugeye at one of the used lots on Old Seward before Dowling. Not sure on condition or history ... or even if it was an employee vehicle but it was parked in the front street side display. Stop by next time you're in town for work and check it out.

Why did you mention the hatch? I was talking about the bugeye specifically, not Subaru's in general. I do agree. I'd actually rather have a wagon over a hatch. Hopefully that's the direction Subaru is going back to since they're not making a hatch for MY2015 WRX.

Kaitlin has a billion cars. Who knows what she drives when!?

Pretty fair price, but I don't know much about the older RS coupes (except they're hard to find up here, especially in 5MT).

1998 Subaru Impreza RS Coupe
- 170,xxx Miles
- Newly Rebuilt Engine (1,3xx miles)
- Moon Roof
- 5 Speed Manual Trans
- All Wheel Drive
- Fog Lights
- Clean Title

Modifications
-STI Crankshaft
-STI Connecting Rods
-STI Exhaust
-ACL Race Bearing Set
-Piston Rings
-Head Bolts
-Kartboy Short shifter and bushings

I have all associated paper work involved with the parts noted above. All work was completed by P3 Autoworks. The motor needed a rebuild for a headgasket leak and decided to replace additional parts as listed. In addition to the head gaskets the motor was machined and the coolant flushed.

Body Has multiple areas of rust around the wheel wells and other areas. The Driver side was side swiped by another vehicle primarily leaving paint scrapes on that side. Not in a rush to sell. $4,000

i think he said wrx hatch because there really is no clear difference between a "hatch" and a "wagon"

Oh gotcha. I spend a LOT of time in News & Rumors, so to me they are different since wagons have a defined D-pillar while a hatch doesn't. Once it's a four-door hatch then it's basically a wagon, but not by classic definitions. I'm hoping Subaru makes a sport wagon since they're nixing the hatch. Such a shame.

you want the 99+ because those have the phase II engines (SOHC) which solves most of the head gasket leask the phase I (DOHC) engines tend to have. The hp and tq are the some on both engines.

I mentioned hatch because you made it sound surprising that just because it's a wagon who makes it their weekend car. Plenty of those with newer WRX or STi hatches that have it as their weekend car. Overall your post confused me I guess lol

To me hatch or wagon.. a big butt is a big butt.

Ooohhh! I meant it like this: It's a wagon, therefore it lends itself to being more of a primary car, in my eyes. That's why I'm so curious as to what car beat out the WRX wagon for every day use. Seems like a waste of a perfectly good performance and utility vehicle. *shrug*

Anyone know anything about this?

Subaru WRX 2003 - $8500 (Eagle River)

Second owner 2003 Subaru WRX. This car is in excellent condition. The struts were replaced with Megan Racing struts and a Tein Rear strut bar. The engine and exhaust has never been modified. The car has 125200 miles on it. I have owned it since 2008. It's had regular maintenance and been well taken care of. It runs and drives perfect. All wheel drive is great in the winter.
If interested call Todd at 907-360-1110.

That bugeye looks like a good catch if only the suspension has ever been tweaked. Would need some interior shots for sure.

^^I'll say, if I had it to do all over again, I would purchase a bug eye and stay stage 2.

Best vehicle I've ever owned.

Truth... Stage two with a intake silencer delete, silicone intake tube, and STi up pipe... Perfection if you ask me.

I'm actually still debating on swapping over my front end to a full bugeye, I mean, I have everything apart already lol.

Anyways with that being said

2006 Subaru Sti - $25000
The car has 62.XXX miles on it right now
The paint is the major issue its not bad it just needs a lot of attention.
The stock silver BBS wheels have seen better days but would make great winter rims and the car will need a new set of rubber at the end of summer.
Some people really need to get their payments under control. Where they get prices like these for vehicles in this condition is beyond me.

Says its been tuned and dyno'd in anchorage... can anyone (Underground/Element) PM me some inside information?
It looks very similar to the one that was for sale in Fairbanks, aside from the "custom sti wheels" and broken side marker.
