Nice! If they ask, that's all they need to hear.

Went to work at my Vet clinic and a young girl stopped with her dad and said "see dad thats the car I want you to get me."
Put a big smile on my face.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the strength of internal components of the sti and wrx. I'll be upgrading someday and aside from the obvious glass transmission, should I worry about a wrx blowing up at wot for any reason. No track for me, light mods, stage 2 at best down the road and nothing past 300 at the wheels. And what's with the plastic intake?

You will be fine if you know how to shift, aren't launching it all the time, and have a good tune

Engine wise there isn't much difference
Tranny wise obviously the 6 speed is stronger

Perfect thanks, I have a subaru 5 speed now that I'm not to hard on.

I figured wrx over sti personally for dd uses. 5 spd has taller gears to make that easier. Current models are very similar 0-60 and 1/4 mile. I'm not to big into speeding, I can break the law just fine in a wrx.

You can break the law in a 2.5i easily lol.

The only thing I can tell you is get a short shifter it makes shifting much more enjoyable in the WRX. Pitch stop and some bushings (tranny group N, positive power (front and rear diff) and sway bars + endlinks (22/22 is popular) cleans up the slack in the drivetrain. *pitch stop does transfer some more noise into cabin, you can really hear the car crank over otherwise it's minimal*

Motor wise stage 2 should make most people happy.

When you get tired of telling people why you have rally pig sticker on your door mirror, so you just change your response to "I just like pigs"

I thought it was a cop reference? Like, you got your eyes on us, but we got our eyes on you too.

Orrrr, is it because pigs like dirt?

When you get 20.0 mpg on the highway no matter if you are in "I", "S", S#, going fast, going slow, on boost, off boost, it doesn't matter you'll only get 20.0 mpg!

Also when you don't care about how much gas costs anymore cause you care more about the driving experience and memories with your STI!

you'll have to donate the valet key (gray key) in order for the starter to work if you own a 08+. dunno about the prior years.

the're loads of them...though no OEM. mine is an ORBIT remote starter.

The remote Even beeps back the when the car is started. you can start it even without seeing it.

If you use the grey key you won't be able to open your glove box with your flip key. BUT who locks that anyway? Although we probably should because I'm sure most of us have a $500 ap in there
