stock bpv flutter when cold after tmic install
Hey
Last night I installed a larger tmic (torque solutions from iir) a little wrestling but tightly fits, about 2.5hr install. No leaks, both clamps tight Drove around last night with no issues etc. This morning I fired her up and started to drive while cold (td04) Instead of the "pfhoosh" when you let off the throttle I was getting a slight flutter instead of the normal "pfhooosh". Driving at low Rpms since engine was cold. once engine started to warm, it was back to normal and has been since I have a tune date for April 3 at Maxwel power services, I am excited. Any thoughts would be cool Thanks ben

Hmm I think it is compressor surge, it happens even when warm.
coming from the turbo side, but why does it go away after a little bit of driving. I hope this is something the tune could sort out sine I am not tuned for the headers or tmic yet Opinions? |

What BPV/BOV are you using?
Also, ask your tuner. Some flutter on lift-off is not necessarily bad, but your tuner should be able to answer. |

Vacuum/low boost flutter is fine, and relatively normal it's when you're upwards or 10psi you'd have to worry about

Still have the stock BPV installedtoday i removed my intake and blocked off the opening and applied smoke into the intake system with our evap smoke tester, No air leaks found, everything is sealed tight.I hope this is something that can be remedied with a proper tune.I will find out april 3rd.its just weird that it started right after the TMIC was installed, so its gota do something with the volume of air trying to be passed through the BPV.weird
