HLA G valvetrain rpm limits
Mechanically, the G HLAs appear to be exact to the EG33 valvetrain, which I am intimately familiar with. The one difference I see is that the G does not use dual springs, where the EG does.
The EG tolerates 7800rpm (valvetrain limited) easily. I see a 7400 ceiling noted with the G. I am curious to see if we can cram the inner spring off an EG into the G. Of course we'd need to compare the lift values and such between the two. Could this give the resilience to reach 7800 safely? |
