Of course it's only a few months old, well going to restore the phone first to see if it fixes it

Swap the phone out yet? Switch carriers if so.

My AT&T iP5 is a POS. Apple says it's AT&T. AT&T says it's Apple. It's great.
I have to reboot the phone at least once daily. It did this awesome thing the other day where it said I had full signal and LTE, but I had nothing. When I eventually tried to go to a website it didn't load, so I rebooted and got 5 texts and 50 emails when it came back, due to an emergency at work that I was completely unresponsive to for 2 hours. Awesome timing. |

It seems you have to open a ticket with VZW and wait till they call back saying if they replace the phone or not. As far as switching carriers it is a no go due to something called 2yr contract |

Pay the etf or try to use the terrible service as an out. I am aware of contracts.

The thing is it seems to be the actual phone, as from some searching ppl with the same phone on other carriers have almost the same issue if not other stupid stuff.

Strange, they (Apple) are usually quite good at exchanging for another refurb; at least once anyway. I'm assuming they are saying it's the network issue and not a hardware thing? |

So got off the phone with VZW, I got a cool tech. I asked him if he was married. He said, yes. So then I said, does your wife complain about stupid things such as the one I am calling about? Answer is yes. Good help me out then.
Getting a replacement phone, getting it on Thursday with a new SIM card as well. |

So does this field test relate to data speed and everything or just phone reception? Because I am seeing 4 bars, -75, and like 2mbs...

I guess I don't see the scenario where a locked phone is worth that much. If I were to pay near full price for a phone ($650 gets an unlocked 32gb 5), I'd want an unlocked one to use on something like straight talk. Best of luck on the sale.
