I think Honda has it right. I'm usually a champion of the innocent until proven guilty, but personally I think the kid has his dirty little handprints all over that transmission.

Didn't rexygirl already call you out on this very thing in an earlier post?

That is funny, I am replacing valves, and other internal crap on an STI that should not be covered, but SOA is covering it. Let's forget the fact it has been hacked up, turbo back exhaust, etc. I have done more goodwills from SOA on repairs that should have been declined than I have those that were declined.

Why would she get fired....she was actually telling the truth...

In the OP's case, the exhaust probably won't have much bearing on the case....BUT, when they open up that trans and look at the flywheel with all the hot spots on it.....

Bitch are you retarded?

Those very bolts have to be removed in order to get the transmission out.

A decent technician is going to notice that they have been recently removed and alert the service manager. Service manager is then going to call the OP, the OP will likely lie to the service manager and destroy his chances of getting it covered.

Think before you post, dumbass.

Idiot,

You are arguing with a Subaru Master Technician, we notice these things, dumbass.

Bolts only look brand new from the factory. After that you get small wear indentations on the edges. I can look at a bolt and I don't care if it is brand new or 60,000 miles on it, you can tell right away whether it has been fettered with.

Again, think before you type, dumbass.

And you are right, we do work on an established time labour guide. I charge you more than I charge Subaru, if it's your fault you're getting charged and I get paid more money for the same time.

Just for God sakes, take it in like it is. In the end it is a human being making the call whether or not they will deny your warranty, and they will be more appreciative of somebody who is leveling with them and being honest.

You think Subaru doesn't pay those technicians to find reasons why they shouldn't shell out $1000s in repair work? You think service managers still get their bonus when they do 4 times as much warranty work as the next closest dealrship? They likely have some incentive NOT to do warranty work... And being a shady customer is a great way to get denied.

hondaslayer... You have a very valid position. I understand that this is related to your occupation, so you probably have quite a bit of attachment to the subject, but I think people will give you a lot more credit if you just kindly explain your position rather than immediately turning to name calling and scarcasm as a way to support your argument.

My techs always inspect the vehicle during their diagnosis to see if anything has been tampered with, changed, etc. The moment you sign that repair order, that gives us right to do that.
