Hey Dom, what cases are you using for these motors? I am putting a new OEM oil cooler on and want to make sure i get the correct one.

There is no difference to any case where oil coolers are concerned. The oil cooler you use is up to you and whatever fits your car.

Yeah right, I forgot the FXT and newer WRX's w/ the EJ255 have that separate adapter added onto the block and a different oil cooler. We are going to use a new STI oil cooler and ditch the adapter from my EJ255 block. I can use the extra room around the header primary's or add a sandwich adapter plate.

You guys would all have to be building sleeved blocks for it to be worth making >100mm pistons. It would be crazy to spend the money on these custom long rod pistons and rods to use them on a bored out stock sleeve!

Currently I have engine builds coming out my ears. Offering another engine group buy would be unfair to my customers as my already long lead time would be even longer.

I could probably do one of just rods and pistons, but no engine specials.

I'll tell you, I am loving my MPS LR 2.5 motor build with the Blouch 3.5XTR and the Tial MVR EWG! The frickin car feels awesome on just the break in map. I'm running PnP'd, Supertech big valve, dual spring, D25 heads with Kelford R199B cams. CR is around 9.6/1, the off boost response is amazing and the turbo wants to spool very quickly. It feels like it spools like the stock VF 48. I know a big part of this response is a result of the Killer B Holy Header as well as the high compression ratio! I can't wait to get my real tune on this build especially the E85 tune!
