at e-town the time i went with wiznaz to try out the new tune i weighed 3300 pounds. But my old utec went crazy. Launch control worked then cut out then it wouldnt let my car go over 20psi without bugging out. and it said my tps was 200% hahahahaha NOT GOOD. Mike said it sounded like fireworks out the exhaust, didnt make any sense though because on the dyno it was perfect and on the street it was fine but some where during the drive to the track it went CRAZY

seeing as how evo guys count stock turbo records even if they have a different housing and wheel i was wondering if you melt a vf39 and re-cast it into a GT35R is it still a stock turbo?

The turbo has to be untouched, other than an ewg

Got back out to Island this weekend. Seems the season is over for me, and back to the drawing board yet again.

Consistent 12.2xx @ 111.xxx all day long. The car takes off like a bat out of hell then just dies up top. This is not relative to the cars graph and what it has accomplished in the past. The motor's good, I'm thinking an exhaust leak or possibly the turbo is crapping out. I would not be surprised if the turbo is dying because I now have over 5k on that tune, very harsh miles.

Ran a little over 27lbs today. Driving was good. I had to relearn the launch but 1.700-1.750's are fine for me. Shifted crazy quick @ 6700 rpm, no matter what, 111 mph.

consistant 12.2xx @ 111.xxx is still pretty damn good, but def disappointing compared to what your ran b4, theres def something off with the car, maybe boost leak/vaccume leak? as for the stock turbo goin out, i doubt it, 5k miles at that power level is not too much, tho i have 1 main crack on mine and 2 hair very small hair line crack around it, and turbo stilll working at best @ 26k miles now, i believe earl is the same way i think his stock turbo right now has 55k miles, stock turbo can take a beating, but my friend of has a blown vf39 04 STi thats has major shaft play, lasted i believe 30k and wasnt even boosted pass 20psi. yea so its still quite possible your turbo is ****ed

your 60 foot is not bad
but seems like something is falling apart up top, double check everything
compression test and leakdown test doenst hurt also

Ill cut 1.6 60fts when I get new tires. I got the stockers on so I have to slip then dump to avoid wheel hop. With perelli winters I was hitting 1.6 no problem last year. Gettin the new tires for X-mas. Anyway, I did find one problem out this morning while logging on the highway. The car was pulling 11 degrees of timing at partial throttle and bucking a little bit. I'm very familiar with this problem as it has happened a few times before with both STi's. The spark plugs are shot. First set lasted 30k, this set lasted 2k- lots of race gas

Lets dyno it and then change plugs to see what we gain. I knew the car felt a bit flat on the top side. It flys to the 1/8th though!
