Default COBB Track Day - August 10th Fri - Deposits

**UPDATE**
Due to lackluster registration this year, I am changing the format to mimick how we ran the track day last year. I am hoping this will generate some interest so that we are able to hold this event again next year!

Revised format!!

15 cars per run group
6 sessions each
Cost per car - $150

We are now accepting NON refundable 50***37; deposits for the track day. Reserve your spot today for $75.00. The remaining half of your payment will be automatically charged 24-48 hours the day before the event. If the second half of your track day payment is declined, we will attempt to contact you right away.

We will be on hand offering AccessPORTs, Sway Bars, etc....for your track day needs!

You must supply your own helmet. Snell95 or higher is a must!

Also, during the event, RallySport Direct will be on hand to provide any brake supplies you may need for the day

We are also accepting deposits for a Dyno Day, same day, at our dyno facility out at the track.

SO, does an instructor ride with all 1st time drivers, or is it basically follow the leader with no passing allowed?

East, West or full course?

I have a Pro Solo practice day the same day but possibly can do both, that would be interesting to accomplish! Or I could skip the practice and just run the Pro Solo on Sat and Sun. This event will not be as fun as others since one car at a time instead of two facing off at the tree.

Thanks for putting this on, I hope I can go!!!

I know, will not be nearly as much fun, Pro Solo is about dead, they are doing it this way while working on ideas to bring it back to life(which will be nearly impossible)

I will let you know if we need any instructors for ride a longs this year. If you volunteer to instruct, you will most likely not get to drive. Keep that in mind.

We had "instructors" last time, and it worked out well for those who were track virgins. Keep in ind that this is not a race, but a good opportunity to get out on track to see if you like it. If so, there are quite a few driving schools that can accelerate your learning curve and get you driving your car to its limits.

We allowed passing last year, but only on the front straight. We had corner workers and a spotter in the tower keeping an eye on everyone. We will be using similar guidelines this time as well.

Sorry man, a moderator must have got your initial post. The reason i am trying to keep it restricted to the 350Z's and G35's is because that is going to be a new customer base...and this is a customer appreciation track event. If we made parts for 240's, they would have been included. If you still have your Subaru, feel free to sign up! Or co-drive a friends WRX or Evo, or 350z, etc...

Sorry, missed your post.

I need to call and sign up, I will either work around the Pro Solo practice or skip it so I can hang out on track with a bunch of cool cars

Please consider at least adding the back straight to pass on, more than enough room and there are two other places that are decent as well. I have run many laps out on the west track and feel really comfortable passing in those areas(never feel comfortable about getting passed

I ran the full course today, dang that was fun!
