What's the price compared to a FMIC kit? my computer won't display anything other than the pic. I would personally save for a FMIC kit instead of upgrading the TMIC, but that's just me.

While I wish I could say I translated this myself, I must give credit to AltaVista Translations:

You adopt the new structural laminating type GT core. In general tube core comparing,
With the identical external form be able to design the passage area largely, the exchanger exchanging quantity it is possible to increase substantially.
It corresponds to the airflow to boost UP - sport turbine class.

- By the fact that it makes genuine replacement layout, cooling the ラジエター is not impaired, rise of water temperature is held down.

- At genuine ratio pressure loss approximately 50% decrease. It actualizes the improvement of the response.

The genuine inlet pipe, the complete volt/bolt on design where you can install the リサキュレーションバルブ and the blow-by pipe. (Reference: This corporation reference installation 1 hour)

The caulking end at the time of high supercharging which is seen in the genuine intercooler with the core and tank welding correspondence.

Intermediate supercharging response improvement.

It appeals the existence inside the engine compartment.

Genuine comparison

Maximum cooling efficiency
STi (genuine)- 100
HKS- 103.8

Weight (kg)

Size (W×H×T)

Make what you want of the data. Looks a little bigger, heavier, less pressure drop, but not much more of a cooling capacity.

From the text, it looks like this increases response from the turbo...is this possible with an intercooler?

What do you experts think of this piece?

I'd say the APS top mount that sells for about $750 is a better deal. It isn't shinny, which really bugs me for some reason, is light weight, and also isn't prone to heat soaking (although I'm not implying the HKS piece is). -Bolster
