...ok, so it's a GC.

60 ... 1.835
330 ... 5.157
1/8 ... 7.944
MPH ... 88.61
1000 ... 10.305
1/4 ... 12.336
MPH ... 111.23

It was my first time at a drag strip, and probably the last because it's a waste of her handling capabilities.

I hit the limiter in 3rd gear and bogged 4th a bit due to fuel cut, and I know if I practiced more I could probably cut a 1.7 60ft, maybe even a 1.6. My gut tells me she has 11's in her... maybe if Scoobie Steve was driving...

Spec is top secret and you can't know because you might drive fast too and I spent a lot of money doing super special research blah blah blah just kidding...

Deadbolt TD05H-20G @ 21psi
STI Version 6 TypeRA motor
RA tranny (4.44/R180)
APS FMIC
Apex'i PFC/AVC-R tuned by Andy Forrest
Superlegs and Toyo T1S tires

I also ran a 12.432 @ 105 with the center diff locked and a crappy 1.826 60ft. Shifted into 5th on both runs.

Sorry if I missed anything... V6 please let me know.

Special thanks to the Mid-A Pittsburgh crew for all the help building the car and drinking beer while doing so!

So on your good run you pulled a 1.835 sixty and on your 12.432 run you pulled a "crappy" 1.826 sixty? Neither is bad for a 1/4 newbie

Thanks... I just figured a car this light should be much faster off the line, considering people are pulling 1.6's in stock STI's.

Some of the stuff in the list is outdated (Leda coilovers, OZ wheels, etc.), but the car did make 325whp on Pruven's dyno last year on a run where the clutch slipped... that was on 100 octane too. My guess is that in the current configuration, the car is making around 280-300whp.

Bonus - I was probably the quietest car there. The hairdryer is louder than the exhaust!

I don't have a copy of the dyno plot, but it looked exactly like this -

Seriously though, that is pretty much right on. The TQ/HP overlapped and peaked around 5k and HP was flat to redline.

GNV - it was a Keystone... er, Pittsburgh Raceway Park.

Awesome car, very nice times. The 60' could be improved slightly as you said... But for a first time at the track, these numbers are awesome. And when I say the 60' could be improved, I'm comparing your numbers to other guys on here who have posted these 1.6-1.7's... Personally, anything that breaks 2.0 I think is a pretty decent launch from my perspective.

Sweet car! I am thinking she has more mph in it. Depending how much more will dictate how far into the 11s she can go.

You should give it another shot!

Thanks for all the comments! As I sit here at work all these questions keep popping into my head...

"What if I nailed a 1.7 or a 1.6?"
"What if I flat-shifted?"
"What if I locked the diff and then opened it in 3rd?"
"What if I ran on a day when it wasn't hot and humid?"

And my friend wants to run his Corvette against me...

Maybe I will give it another shot sometime. I sure did have a good time yesterday...
