Question Euro. Rear Wipers??? and Strobes....

Hey... is it me but did anyone else hear of this myth of the Euro-Subies haveing a rear wiper??? if its just me... oops! if its not, it dosen't sound like a bad idea... for my case everytime it rains the rear window gets all blury. I don't know of anyone else having this problem but hook it up with a solution... thanks!! oh yea and those strobe lites.... is this a way to have them in the headlights and in the tail lights??? also using that blank switch box in between the cruise and the alarm lite??? thanks

myth, no.... reality yes. The euro's do indeed have a rear wiper. It's been discussed before how to add one to an RS, but I don't think anyone's actually done it. Apparently you'll have to either order a japan spec rear windshield, or find someone to drill a hole in it for you.

As for the strobes.... why?... and how?.. where are you thinking about putting them, and what effect are you going for. I think it'd just make you look like a cop or something...

just my opinion,
mike

It is a possibility to install the strobe lights into your headlights, however, it involves drilling a hole in them and then lowering the light unit into the headlight, then caulking all around as to not let any moisture in. (tons of grammar mistakes, but it's late so who cares.)

Ps I did this in my prior vehicle (a 1995 xtended cab s-10 lowrider) and trust me, if you accidently hit the switch at night, people will pull over

Cool, but don't run your strobes on the roads in NC. You'll get a ticket!
