Default Engine coolant temp sensor check engine light?

Well has anyone replaced one of these yet???. I think i have located it but not sure. The tech is an ass and really doesnt want to show me where it is. I saw him messing around with something in the area and I think I located the engine colant temp sensor.
Pretty cheap part especially at my cost since i work at a dealer
