How aggressive can u drive without the rear end stepping out with the 19 bar and what's "sloppy" in ur opinion? I kno these aren't easily described measures lol.. I'm assuming u upgraded from the sport 16mm bar since u said u kept ur stock endlinks. Cheers..

I actually got his endlinks also. I have the base model. There is this road parmenter close to where I live and I know it like the back of my hand. Its where I like to test the cornerig on my cars. Don't get me wrong, I do find it stiff enough. On that road I drive it pretty damn aggressive and I can feel the rear dipping on corners. Id like to keep it nice and level. I know it doesn't help having stock springs either but I plan on upgrading those once iv done the bars.
That was probably an awful explanation so I'm sorry

Btw, are you from "over the pond"

Its set up to understeer as stock, because most people don't know what to do when oversteer occurs. With the 19mm it becomes one of the most balanced handling characteristics of any car I've ever driven. It will not oversteer or understeer, it cuts the turn like a knife. Impressive actually. If you want more fun, then go for something between a 20 and 22mm, which will oversteer quite a bit more, if you know how to handle that. With the 19 it's quite a bit more track style oriented, it cuts through corners incredibly well and begins to let go evenly at the front and back while maintaining the turn radius, which works fine with me. I think a thicker bar (21) would be fun, but it might be more dangerous and completely unnecessary.

Sorry, IMHO that looks terrible. They need to figure out how to fill those wheel wells with something instead of black space. Is that what the cladding does on the XV?

Be patient. The time will come. You don't want to be the guineapig just like the rest of us! I may order them after redoing some suspension mods but that won't be for at least one month. I'm sure sooner or later we will get some feedback on them.

LOL! A voice of reson to keep me grounded. I would have done it by now but youre right, I dont want to be the guineapig. Especially having read about some spring swaps on this forum that turned out a complete fail (on other models of course). BTW, I will buy your STI sway bar if you change it.

That and 225/55/R17 tires.. I'm not feelin it too much either. It really needs meatier tires at that ride height.

Installed a set of Rally Armor UR (grey) mud flaps. Here's some installation tips for those interested:
  • Approx. 1.5 hour installation. (30min for the first side, 15min for the other side) x 2. Note: the rear mud flaps will take longer to install on a 5dr because you have to remove an additional inner liner (as recommended in the instructions).
  • Useful tools (but not necessary): body clip removal pliers, trim pry tools, Phillips off-set screwdriver (I didn't have one so I used vise grip pliers and a short bit. There wasn't enough room to use a ratchet).
  • To removal the clips that have a Phillips head, hold the outer portion while you're unscrewing it. It's only approx. 1/4 turn to remove it.
  • To reinstall the clips, separate them into 2 pieces and insert the outer portion of the clip first and make sure the body sections are secured. Finally, insert the inner portion of the clip.
  • If you're not removing your wheels, install the hardware for the inner most portion of mud flap before you install it on the vehicle, but leave a little slack for adjustments. There's very little space to fit your tool to tighten it in the wheel well.

And of course, here are some pictures:
