Cool Anyone know who tuned this car on ebay? (or who built it)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WRX-S...t_13358wt_1165

Car looks pretty interesting and it obviously has some pretty extensive mods. I called the dealership about it, but they don't know anything about the history other than it's "fast." Judging by the AEM ems and Cosworth intake this car is putting down some serious numbers. Good or bad deal?

General rule of thumb: stay away from any modified car unless you have detailed history of modifications. Even then, I would avoid a modded car. There are just too many unknowns.

Personally, I wouldn't buy this car.

yea I called them, but they had bought it from the auto auction. I just couldn't justify spending that kind of money on a car that has no record of what was "built." I just started this thread because if someone did know this car and could provide some info then I would consider purchasing it.

You might try the Regional Forum.
Also, searching the VIN shows that the car was originally sold and serviced here:
Chrysler Jeep Subaru of North Broward
Pompano Beach, FL
954-943-6700
You might call them and ask if they could pull the service records But my guess is that it was not the original owner that modded it (It was sold in Aug. 2010).
The car showed up for sale before the auction here:
Greenway Chrysler Dodge Jeep
Orlando, FL
407-306-9400
Good luck!

Thanks nm! I will call tomorrow when they are open. It almost seems odd that a car with this many mods would just be traded in.... That AEM ems and cosworth intake is 3 grand alone
