I checked the online PDF install and it doesnt seem like it comes with any weather stripping, and doesnt mention it in the install. Mine came port-installed so I can't really say if its supposed to have it or not

Mine did not have weatherstripping either. Not sure why it isn't included.

Just checked mine. Build date 04/12 and port installed, no weather stripping there.
I too noticed right above under the hood there is a row of holes, that looks like it could have been for a weather stripping piece tabbed into those holes, similarly to the weather stripping piece a bit further back on the hood ??

Who knows? ?

I ordered mine after I bought the car and installed it myself. No weather stripping was included. I took the weather stripping off the stock grill and put some two sided tape. It is better than none at all!

is there a part number for the weather stripping to get from the dealer? or you think it's not even worth it? i guess ive had the car since december without it...maybe i should check under the hood and see if there is any corrosion

Why is this a big deal? The mesh grill is essentially a big hole anyway.

If it was an ebay grille id be skeptical, but if the OEM mesh grille didn't come with it, its probably unnecessary Id say.

^^ Same here for me. If things are warm enough and you pull slowly, there's a chance you could reuse the adhesive tape off the oem grill/weatherstripping. If not, 1/8" tape would be perfect, local parts store didn't have that, so I went with 1/4" and cut it in half.

It didn't look right without it and I know the engine bay will get wet but it seems like the weather stripping would help prevent a steady stream coming in from the top front side while driving in rain/snow. The grill opening itself doesn't directly go to the top side of the engine. There's a plastic piece that diverts the air.
