Default V2 STI intercooler conversion

I am trying to convert my topmount JDM spec STI RA intercooler to the wrx intercooler with BOV. Not sure on where the pipeing would go to from the BOV and the intercooler hose line(it has a pipe that comes out of it and that is where the stock BOV valve is placed, it then runs into large air filter intake hose). Any one done one of these? what BOV would you use? Also, will a wrx MAS work with a V2 STI RA engine?
thanks
chad

The MAF will probably work if you figure out what wires are what. I believe the WRX MAF is two wire and the older ones (at least ver. III like mine) are three wire. I got one for my car from my Subaru dealer. Hell if I know the part # anymore.

The IC set up will need to be modified like the scoobynet thread says but if you notice the ver. V/VI IC is different than a WRX one. I will be modifying a WRX one to fit my ver. III as I don't want to really go FM.

what is an FXT intercooler? An what BOV would you run on the intercooler. I am taking the stock on off that is in-line between the i/c and the air intake. I want to put one on the i/c mount.
thanks for all your help guys.

forester XT its much wider but not as deep. the wrx throttel body is about 2 inches further forward than the v.2.. the fxt intercooler is 10.5 in deep while the wrx is 12.5

you can't use the current bov mount. the throttle spring is in the way you will have to do something like in the scooby sport thread
