Default Cold start problem..

If I start the engine when its cold it will throw a cel and it will idle rough. The idle goes up and down between 1000 and 1300 rpm. Now if I reset the ecu when the engine is still cold it dosen't go away. But if I warm up the engine and then reset the ecu the cel goes away and the car is normal.
What is happening to my car? Has this happened to anyone else?

This started happening 2 days ago and it is annoying.
Any help would be appreciated..

Alan

All I have is apexi intake,PDE uppipe, down pipe and HKS exhaust. Thats why I don't want to take it to the dealer. But If nobody has any ideas about whats wrong, I guess I'm forced to make it stock and battle the dealer again.

It's probably your MAF sensor, did you bump it or something while you were putting in your intake? Is your air filter oiled?

My intake has been in for over a month now and I haven't touched it since then.

Is the filter element oiled or not? Sometimes excess oil fouls up the MAF, it doesn't matter if you've touched it lately or not. Stranger things have happend

The filter is paper but it doesn't seem oily. Is there a way to check if its the maf?
