Dude, my son would be your best friend ever.

I have always wanted to drive some heavy equipment and there is actually a new fantasy camp I was reading about that takes people like me and allows them to dig holes and drive some of that equipment for the day. I am seriously thinking about doing it.

Anyway - I am a Navy Vet and have been in Finance for 20 years. I work at www.silexx.com

Car History:
Volkswagon Beetle (74)
Jeep CJ7 (84)
WRX (04)
Legacy GT (09)

Just ordered a STI 5dr (13)

It's pretty fun and an excellent trade to have. But unfortunately just like any other job, it sucks at times and can be quite frustrating.

Not to derail this thread....but....I LOVED that CJ. In fact the ONLY reason we sold it was that we were living in San Francisco (street parking and no room for two cars) and my wife was pregnant and could no longer ride in it (it was too bouncy and had a lift). So I sold it and bought the WRX in 2004.

I use to drive that CJ up to Tahoe in the snow to go skiing, in the mud, in the Serra mountains, in the desert, on the beach. I took that thing camping everywhere. It didn't drive FAST and it was a little bouncy - but I KNEW I could drive ANYWHERE!

I would buy another and would recommend it to anyone.

BTW: I bought it for $2k and sold it for $3k - talk about holding value! I am not a big fan of the new ones compared to that old trusty CJ!

Tires: distributor prices + 15%

Parts: 3/4 the price

Alignments and such: 1/2 price

I love my job
