What's up brother? Been away for a while playing with my GS, but had to stop back in when my friend told me about Katie's wagon. You know we all got wagon love deep down inside, right. Hey BTW, sorry I missed you guys the last time you guys were out in Hawaii. When you guys coming back again? Brian just helped me out with a some photos of my GS a few weeks ago too

Nice Numbers! That's some nice torque numbers! No wonder why the car pulls nicely out of the turns

Not in response to the post above mine, but geez there is a lot of elite-ism going on here lol I think its horribly unfair to almost all of the cars that are still in the running. Think about it, most of these cars are people's DD's. Sure some like the fat wheel fitment, others like a smaller approach. Some like wagon's, some like the older RS's, and some are a little everywhere in between. Some obviously have sank a lot of money and time into their cars, others have sank everything they can afford to, which sure maybe it isn't as much as the next person...but hey guess what? It's still their car and they still love it, they drive it everyday and they modify it according to what makes them smile when they hit the throttle or walk out to their car when leaving a store. I think it's a load of crap that people are getting judged by their cars according to what others think they should be doing to them. A car is a reflection of its owner, and I think thats whats great about this competition: the variety. I have a 2011 that I can barely afford to keep in my driveway and mod the way I want. But everytime I see it and drive it I smile, and thats what it's all about. I've met a bunch of other subaru owners around my area and no one ever gave me crap for not having rims, or having a catback I made myself...so I don't think it's right that its happening here to these obviously great cars...end rant lol

^Honestly that is why I am glad I didn't even make it to the second round. I just like to see what other people have done to their car and what kind of numbers are at the wheels.

I never had high hopes for advancement. I think everyone's cars are equally as nice for the effort they put into them. Because they love THEIR car. I know I love my car. That's why it's as unique as it is. I don't care if Joe Schmoe hates on it. I just shrug it off and walk away. That's the beauty of car modification. There are soooo many options here. And you can do it on a $0 budget or a unlimited budget. You will have haters and followers. Life moves on. Hop in the drivers seat. Turn that sucker on and push the pedal to the floor and smile as you drive YOUR baby down the road. |

Haha, yup it wasn't easy. I was tempted to stretch just to make it easier, but I'm stubborn and just wanted to make a point that you could fit a 10" wheel on a wagon without the crazy mad V-dub stretch Yo! I really never took my wagon that seriously and did certain things just because I'm an idiot. That's kinda my personality. Granted it had minor mods (VF34 upgrade with the usual stuff: fuel pump, pinks, blah, sways, endlinks, protune blah blah) But, most here would only really remember me and my wagon as the guy from Hawaii with the 10's. And that's cool with me too Functional.......I'll be the first to admit that it wasn't exactly a track monster. But it looked "Hella" cool hard parked. LOL! To all the ladies....win or lose, it's all in fun and enjoy your rides and do what you do

I, for example, have only contributed to SFB with the purchase of a lanyard and handing out business cards for SFB at car shows. But I donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Save the Lids Yoplait thing and others. My mother had breast cancer and I am at a higher risk for it than anyone else I know at my age. I am sure there are other ladies on here with stories similar to mine who have not posted it up on this thread. |

People are always going to hate. Its a shame but that's how it rolls. Some forums are strict on it and will bounce people for it while others are more relaxed.
